Nowadays I find the world a very confusing place. We are being asked to believe the most horrific and bizarre things as true and normal. Lies are truth, black is white right is never wrong, corruption is ok if our masters say.
We are seeing daily before our eyes, a genocide in Palestine, yet our rulers and their corrupt media tell us that it is merely Israel performing self-defence against those evil Palestinian children and their satanic mothers.
They tell us that attacks on Iran or Lebanon or Syria are perfectly permissible, however, if those countries dare to invoke self-defence against the state of Israel they are evil wrongdoers who have acted with no provocation whatsoever.
We are to believe that the SMO in Ukraine began in February 2022 when the evil Valdimir Putin decided without provocation to invade Ukraine, a nation of nice cuddly type nazis.A veritable Disneyland Reich. No mention of the US/CIA coup in 2014 when the democratically elected Ukrainian President was removed from office in a violent insurrection instigated by the CIA and then replaced by a suitable American puppet. Not a hint of the 15,000 dead ethnic Russians in the Donbass before Russia stepped in.
We are told in the UK we have to believe that paying the pensioners WFP or paying the WASPI women their entitled pension would, crash the economy completely but we can afford to give said Kiev Nazis £9 billion since July with no adverse effects on the economy.
We have instructed our RAF to fly over 250 missions in Gaza at no cost to Israel and in the process make all UK citizens complicit in a genocide that is not a genocide so we are told to believe. Yet our economy can absorb that cost.
We found out this week that our new Chancellor of the Exchequer who we were assured was a top economist at the Bank of Scotland was in fact a Customer Services Supervisor however we are to believe she is still qualified to run the nations finances. For lying on her CV, no punishment.
The leader of the SNP Scottish Government who we are assured is determined to get us independence this week put forward his suggestions to the Customer Services Supervisor with the Budget in mind his vision for the for the four nations of the union. He didn’t offer a separate Scottish Budget for an independent nation. Nosiree, like a good little devolutionist he played the British game, not the Scottish one.
As if that wasn’t bad enough our same Scottish Government told us to believe that there are 24 Genders, not just the three that science dictates, male, female and at a stretch neuter.I mean if you do not identify as male or female why not just go for neuter instead of all this excessive nonsense?
We are also to believe that The Royal British Legion desperately needed a Head of Diversity at a salary of £67,437.00 per annum. I really am at a loss to understand why our fallen heroes or crippled heroes need a diversity person at all?
We are also to believe it is in the nations security not to tell the people on the West Coast of Scotland that there has been multiple nuclear leaks at Couplort polluting the Clyde. Why would us colonised Jockos need to know our waterways might be polluted for a thousand years or more and cancers could become an everyday occurrence for Scots living near this water?
Plaid Cymru bravely decides that there should be a boycott of Israel. Meanwhile, the SNP keeps with the British consensus that Israel are the good guys and those they slaughter in their genocide are the baddies!
Except it is not just a single UK Party. It is all the British Parties, all the media, all the commentators, all the so-called corrupt journalists. We are to stay silent as genocide is carried out by our armed services and in our name.We are to accept funding Nazis in a US proxy war is in our best interests. Politicians lying about their qualifications is perfectly acceptable. Government Ministers taking £2000 football ticket bribes from companies they are supposed to regulate over is perfectly normal.

SNP MPs were given the Scottish majorities to get us out the UK due to an enforced Brexit and other violations which breach the ToU. The SNP is clearly a colonial administration, naithin mair, thair tae prevent oor leeberation.
The ‘devolved’ nations are internal colonies. What has not yet been plundered is a target, and yes that includes Scottish Water and any remaining public services that have not already been sold off, as well as now oor renewable energy production which alone soon will be worth in retail terms over £100 billion a year.
Scots urgently need a UK exit route but its not via the daeless distrusted SNP.

And collapsing is the operative word.
The UK is in decline, terminal decline. It is all around for all to see.
Economic output falling, with a manufacturing base wiped out, huge national debt, a balance of payments deficit. These are all indicators of a country sliding down the world charts. Indeed, even the once mighty City of London financial centre is now being usurped. And that was supposed to be the jewel in the crown.
And concomitantly living standards for the majority are on the decline as the health service, investment in infrastructure, and support services go down the pan.
But we have the money for war, or mistakenly we think we do. Well we don’t. We don’t have the money.
All this guff about Labour getting in to office and finding the cupboard bare is just that, guff.
Labour, like the Conservatives before them knew the state of the economy. It is not a secret. Governments know trade balances, , economic output, GDP, etc etc. The swingeing tax increases are being implemented to fund the war.
And it is a war that will bankrupt the UK and it’s ally America because America too, is on the slide.
And so, maybe not unlike 1930s Germany we live in a bubble of propaganda whilst the Nazi’s tried to take on the world – and lost, their country destroyed.
And it is in a not dissimilar bubble of propaganda that we live. Not quite the golden post Brexit Britain that the hapless populace was promised. Rather a country rotten to the absolute core with corruption. And a country that is going to destroy itself trying to fight wars it cannot win, let alone afford.
So God bless the pensioners who are going to have to forego heating. And all those too who are going to have to pay ever more tax whilst their standards of living go down the pan. God bless them all, their sacrifice will be in vain.
And not too far away the plan to introduce conscription will no doubt be unfolded for all our eighteen year olds. God bless them too for like the elderly and the frail dying through cold housing, our youth can die giving their lives for king and country. Their sacrifice too will be in vain.

The only way to end suffering in war is to end wars. No other way, given human propensity to kill. Until that day comes, people will try to defend themselves and they will try to eliminate their enemies. Arms will be produced and they will be used. Wars everywhere, not just Gaza and the Middle East. The military industrial complex will never give up war willingly. The law of unintended consequences will continue to rule us: stop the war in Gaza, etc. before the terrorist groups are defeated, and it will all start again further down the road for yet another generation. Sometimes, there is no way round giving someone a good hammering to stop them in their tracks. Sad, but true. Anything else is naivety on stilts.
I am far from being insensitive to the Palestinian plight, and the wee bairns’ suffering is unbearable. However, too many of their fathers are/were Hamas fighters. Had Hamas not carried out October 7th last year, Israel would have had no reason to flatten Gaza. This is another truth that so few seem to wish to accept. To deny it makes no rational sense. It makes no sense either to say that the Israelis would have done it anyway, because no one knows that at all, and the Israelis have flatly denied it. Netanyahu is not, and never has been, an extreme Zionist. The Israelis pulled out all settlements in Gaza a few years ago, against the wishes of many Israelis settled there, and opposition elsewhere in Israel. What happened? Hamas took over and the Palestinians kept voting for them even as they spent billions on tunnels and arms while the people suffered. The last leader killed was a multi millionaire, as was Arafat (PLO) before him, and the one in Qatar. These are verified facts.
Have given up completely on the SNP. Nothing now to be done except to boot them out, even if that leads to Unionist rule. We simply have not suffered enough yet to take our independence. Another sad but true fact. The tax situation could be all but solved overnight by freezing the profits of the companies and individuals who siphon it out of the country. Not completely close because you do want to invest abroad to pull in foreign investment here, in the UK, but ensure that it is exceedingly difficult to siphon money off into tax havens. That would force companies and individuals to reinvest here, creating industries and jobs. Raise the tax threshold a little so that more direct taxation is accumulated, but not too much to make people think about fleeing. If an independent Scotland follows the UK example, we will be lost and in hock to foreign interests before we emerge from our cocoon. That is already happening in the UK, and as part of the UK.
Phil is right: underfunding is quite deliberate so that privatisation can go ahead, asset stripping then takes place and investment pulled so that we either lose the asset completely or the state has to step in to save it.
The 24 genders are madness on stilts. These bams are not fit for purpose. The Greens will, apparently, step up on ‘trans’ care. They should, but it should be psychiatric care because these people are, without doubt, not well psychologically, many of them (mainly the young women) while the rest, bar the children who are groomed to play their part in becoming human shields for these men, are paraphiliacs and fetishists who are heterosexual deviants. Of course, there are gay cross-dressers, but this is not what it is all about. If the West falls – and it is now highly likely, China and Russia, and others, will step into the space. Will we better off? Guess, folks. A lot wrong with the West, but hell awaits if we just sit back and let these puppet masters of the hard left ‘woke’ brigades, Big Pharma, etc., manipulate our young people and children. In the end, the ‘woke’ and ‘trans’ movements are also being manipulated by the moneymen, and when their usefulness is done, they will suffer elimination by one means or another.

The Brits don’t do democratic process. Never have done, might try to convince they do, but they don’t.
Alex Salmond, the SNP as it once was, the Yes movement, however democratic they were, constituted enemies of the state and for that had to be illuminated by fair means or foul.
Willie MacRae, Robin Cook, Dr David Kelly, Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed, Irish solicitors Pat Finucane, Rosemary Nelson all died in very suspicious circumstances.
Or the prosecutions of Alex Salmond, Mark Hirst, Craig Murray, and others, all more than suspiciious.
It’s the way the Brits kept their empire. From the US to India to Kenya to Cyprus to Ireland the exist from empire was not achieved through democracy. The Brits don’t do democracy and if you think the Israelis bombing civilians is bad, look at Britain’s history.
I mean, how’s about exterminating all the aborigines in Tasmania. Or befriending indigenous Indians in Canada and giving them winter blankets laced with small pox. Or the forced starvation of millions in the Punjab when India was fighting for its independence. Or Am Georta Mor in Ireland misnamed the famine but in reality a situation where food was actually being shipped out of Ireland whilst indigenous Irish were being allowed to die in their masses of starvation.
Yes it’s all in play and not so long ago we went into Iraq where over a million died because they had weapons of mass destruction.. One would be daft, just daft, stupid, to think it was anything to do with oil.
And Scotland with its still huge remaining gas and oil, wind power, hydro power, huge whisky export, and water – it would be equally daft to think that England would want to hold Scotland against its will or try to intervene in the political process that nearly mandated independence.

Hi Willie, I feel that I must be honest and explain that I was commenting about the Israeli attacks on Gaza and Gazans, not about Scotland. Although I feel deeply sorry for the innocents in Gaza – mainly the children – and would have the war stop tomorrow, I am pragmatic enough to understand that that is not going to happen. Had October 7th last year never happened, Israel would not be in Gaza now. That is a simple fact that is undeniable. I believed then, and believe now, that Hamas deliberately provoked Israeli wrath and left its people to take the punishment, in the stupid belief that Israel would not retaliate to the extent it has. Not trying to be a know-all, But I knew that it would retaliate this time to such an extent, that the Palestinians would be ‘hammered’.
Many civilians were and are Hamas supporters. Mothers, fathers, sisters, wives knew their sons, brothers, husbands were Hamas fighters. Many of them knew exactly what they had done on October 7th last year and kept silent. Muslim women are out on the streets in Germany calling for jihad and sharia law, knowing, unless they are extraordinarily stupid, that it is always women and children who suffer most from authoritarianism. I am afraid that many females are so in thrall to ideologies through their innate desire for acceptance and, yes, often, love, that they will put up with the most horrendous treatment. The ‘trans’ lobby is no less cruel than Islam or any other religion to females. All religions and all ideologies debase and denigrate females, and females are trapped in a servitude of their own making, just as the Scots are. It is a form of colonization, but also of the mind.
I am not a pacifist, but I do think that wars create more problems than they ever solve. All forms of violence do. However, I was using the playground analogy that ‘hammering’ a persistent agitator is so often the only way that you can get peace. First, you have to try everything else, and, when that doesn’t work, you have to resort to different means – but, crucially, not forever. That is the path that Sinn Fein, Ireland and NI, took eventually, after decades of conflict and deaths. We are not Irish. We already have the means to get out of this Union by peaceful means – via the Treaty itself, the Claim of Right, and, crucially, topped off with a vote for independence in Holyrood.
That the SNP refuses to acknowledge, for reasons that should be evident to all, that there is a path to independence through unity, disgusts me and makes me fear for the future. Well, they have already done that with their insane ‘trans’ stance. As a female, I cannot and will not vote for them, whatever they promise, until I see with my own eyes that they are prepared to stand up to Westminster by allying and, even, leading, but not dominating, all discourse with said Westminster. They will never do that because it suits them not to so do. As a female, I recoil from Islam and other religions and ideologies for the same reason. I just do not know when the majority of females on this planet will understand that their interests lie in a very different direction from politics, as it is now. Men and women complement each other. That is the biological truth, and it should never mean acquiescing to domination by either sex or by ill-conceived ideologies and religions that seek to dominate.
A fundamental problem with us humans is that, to what ever extent, each one of us subscribes to an ideology, consciously or otherwise, and I’m not remotely convinced that any one of us is capable of independently standing outside of the particular ideology that we’ve grown up with, which in the individualistic West, of course, leads people to believe that they are individual, autonomous agents who actually originate “their” own thoughts and ideas, which they so often regard as being personal items of intellectual property. The truth may well be, however, that people are likely to believe absolutely anything at all, if they’re brought up in a particular ideological environment, such as that which accompanies the capitalist mode of production. Ideology is 100% the product of language, and nothing exists outside of language; which, of course, is an ideological statement in itself. Jist sayin.
Indeed. I would have to agree that language is crucial to any understanding of ideology, and is the reason that language is almost always the first to be attacked/undermined/corrupted. From that stems propaganda. For female people, our most basic right to existence is never assured – anywhere in the world – because misogyny surpasses all ideologies and politics and social conventions. That, I think makes us cleave to renouncing self-interest in ways that males never do, and it also divides us in ways that makes are never divided.
What has been very evident here, with the ‘trans’ ideology, in Israel last year, on 7 October, and in Afghanistan is that the call has gone out to target females specifically and to shut them down; and the same could be applied to the Manchester bombing, the Southport attacks and the recent threats to young females in Germany. Men have always talked to each other as enemies through the bodies of women and girls. It is a sad and shameful fact, but it is the truth. Perhaps we are all trapped in our ideologies, but it is way past the time to break out and do things differently. I believe that women are very close now to doing just that, but I do not believe that the answers lie with the hard left any more than they lie with the far right in the West, at any rate. Both males and females in Islamic countries need to press for change in their own ways, but they do need to press for change.
Gaza was doomed from 7 October last year. That ‘hammering’ is still taking place, and it will also take place in Lebanon and in Iran, and the Iranian regime will fall soon. Nothing that the West does can change that. Why are we not demonstrating about Sudan, where Arab atrocities are widespread? Why not the Kurds, who were promised a homeland after Saddam’s fall and continue to be stateless? Why not the Nigerian crisis, where Boko Haram runs wild, raping, kidnapping and murdering? I have been appalled at the anti Israeli sentiment, often disguised as support for the beleaguered Palestinians. Why is that only Israel is not allowed to fight back? Why is it that only anti Israel history is allowed to be told? I have always tried to see both sides, as I have in Ukraine, and elsewhere. If we don’t try to understand both sides, these conflicts will never end and there death toll of women and children will continue to rise.

A pity, given that it was a considered, unhurried and quite mainstream opinion (in 2024), regarding the pitfalls we can encounter when discussing people and their many competing ideologies.
