This was Budget week at Westminster. Our corrupt corporate media and political analysts were doing what they do every year and pretend to themselves that the entire world is on hold until this quintessential Anglo farce is over. They speculate and salivate looking for the headline of the week. I think I topped them all this year!

The Daily Record, The Daily Mirror and The Guardian were of course, over themselves with every utterance and every new tax. Just like the Labour Party these mouthpieces of the establishment had not a word to say about the failure to tax the super wealthy.

There are currently 177 billionaires living in the UK.They have a combined wealth of £965 billion, incidentally an amount larger than the entire GDP of Poland! They will all be delighted with this Budget. A small tax rise on them would have wiped out the now infamous £40 billion ‘black hole’ Labour are talking about.That, of course, will never happen with either of the Neoliberal Anglo Parties.

Meanwhile, the Telegraph, The Daily Mail, and The Daily Express tell the public that this is a terrible Budget because well because it is a Red Tory Budget and not a Blue Tory Budget. The SUN was angry because they couldn’t find a single photograph of Rachel Reeves in a bikini for their front page!

Since before the election the Labour Party had been telling us they would not raise taxes on “ordinary working people”, can anyone define this grouping? Just another BS headline something to be trotted out for the Spads and the backbenchers to spew out when a camera is pushed in front of them.

Their biggest piece of BS was raising the NI Contributions on employers, does anyone except the sheep and party loyalists truly believe this does not have any effect on the “ordinary worker?”

The reduction in the threshold for the application of Stamp Duty, do “ordinary working folk” not buy houses? Do they not buy a whisky or a gin? Apparently they don’t roll a cigarette or two either! Not to worry a whole penny off a pint of bitter!

We have 1 million Scots out of a total population of 5,490,100 living in poverty.How many will be pushed further into poverty or join the ranks of the 1 million as a result of this Budget and it’s failure to act on the widening poverty gap in this accursed union?

It certainly will not be bridged by the much heralded GB Energy, Labour’s flagship con job. This week we had it confirmed that this was just another Labour electioneering lie. The so-called HQ in Aberdeen will be housed in a multi-tenanted office block while the non-Scottish CEO and the real HQ staff will be based in Manchester. This latest lie from Labour was of course, defended by Scots born English Nationalist and spineless goon Anas Sarwar.

This week we also had the misfortune of an announcement from Saint Nicola of Assisi. She tried to tell us she decided that she would not be attending the upcoming Memorial Service to the great man. Oh really? Do you think Alex’s family would let you cross the threshold? Even now she tries to make everything about herself, everything that is except taking responsibility for the state of her party and the movement after her 10 years of doing nothing but her pet projects! Sadly, Independence was never one of her pet projects.

As the facts seep out regarding the Hamilton report and Sturgeon’s skullduggery appears more apparent, Swinney has told the world there will be no judge led enquiry to determine if indeed Ms Sturgeon broke the Ministerial code with her deceit! Quelle surprise, Mr Redacted is not for transparency!

In this past week it was also seeped out that the Scottish Government has dropped their plan to have juryless rape trials.Maybe the cynic in me but I suspect their entire reason for this attack on justice died when our former First Minister passed!

John Swinney not satisfied that he had exposed himself as totally unsuitable for the roles of FM or SNP Party leader decided to shoot for gold.For reasons best known to himself, he decided to share with the world his preference in this week’s upcoming US Presidential Election! He is, of course, entitled to an opinion on this matter just as we all are, however, as First Minister of Scotland he is speaking for all of Scotland. Do any of you remember being consulted before he opened his gub?

Do you all remember how angry we all were when Bomber Obama interfered in our referendum and gave an opinion? Likewise, with the dead Queen. Swinney had no right to express this view as FM of Scotland. It is also worth noting he took the exact same line as the UK halfwits by backing the gormless Harris.  just as he does over all UK foreign policy choices.

For what it is worth, Harris or Trump to me is akin to death by firing squad or by lethal injection. I wouldn’t elect either to the chair of the local bowling club.

The new Tory Party leader Badenoch makes it clear that Scotland is not in a voluntary union. Despite no campaigning in 10 years the latest independence poll shows 52% of Scots in favour of self-determination. In 2012 we started out with 28% and got to within a whisker of independence in 2014. Just imagine what we can achieve in May 2026 starting from 52%.

However, we will achieve nothing as long as the devolutionists control the SNP and they continue to bend the knee to our imperial masters.
