  • Och, brilliant, folks. Quite a few giggles today at some of the descriptions. Have given up on even trying to fathom Nicola Sturgeon; just do not give a toss any more. We are in an unholy mess and we have to get shot of the causes: the static SNP and the truly cruel and vindictive Tories.

Have been keeping tabs on the weather and the temperatures across the UK. On average, Scotland appears to be some 5-10 degrees cooler than a lot of England, and certainly much cooler than the South-east and London areas on whose average temperatures the Cold Weather Payments (CWPs) are based. Yet, we receive exactly the same amounts. No adjustment made for Scotland where we will use more gas and electric and oil (depending on where you live) to warm our homes. A double insult when coupled to the lack of recompense for the removal of our natural resources without any discernible to Scotland. That is absolutely the definition of colonisation, and Eva and Yvonne are right to suggest that our MPs should be highlighting and pushing against these aspects of Westminster rule.

As for the GRA reform, it needs to be set aside and far more research and work done on both the biological reality and proof that must be demanded before we embark on such a legal groundbreaking territory and the legal repercussions that will become inevitable if this exceptionally bad law is pushed through Holyrood. If men can become women, legally (self-ID will only enable this to forge ahead) those men will also start to behave as if they are women, and that means they will start to colonise every female space and right with impunity.

It is not inconceivable that Holyrood would, one day, comprise men and men in frocks – 100% men. If one thing has arisen from this whole shambles, it is that those men who claim to have a ‘female brain’, are strangely and consistently masculine in their actions and thoughts, and those actions and thoughts, when they are not centred on sexual paraphilia and porn, is to oust women from every aspect of life, even to the point of being elected to female beauty contests and to ‘women of the year’ accolades. The female politician status will be a walk-over for these guys – and then we’ll hear the shrieks of protest and screams of “it’s no fair so it’s no”. Female loos today, female everything tomorrow.

Nicola Sturgeon, Lorna Slater, Shona, Robison, et al, put your money where your gobs are and get yourselves to a female prison where ‘trans’ women are a feature, where you have to shower with them and share a cell with them. Day-in, day-out for several weeks. Have a wee chat with them and you’ll soon discover (while they display their privates for your delectation) that they are almost all sex offenders, but, hey, they’re harmless. No use at all some ‘trans’ people saying they, personally, would never harm anyone – they probably wouldn’t – because Stonewall’s ever-growing umbrella shelters these men as ‘trans’. You should have protested long ago. Would some of you ever have protested if this stuff had been pushed through with little female opposition? Methinks not too many, just as not too many independence supporters protest hotly at the SNP’s intransigence on a workable independence strategy and route out of the Union.

  • BRILLIANT Prism, great debate..And jumped for joy at the wonderful news that YVONNE is now S.I. as our FM..
    Well Done Yvonne..

  • I thought this was excellent – thank you.

I cannot believe the inaction of SNP MSP’s and MP’s , nor indeed the action of the SNP MP’s walking out on ALBA speakers and having rigged bills.

  • Another good show, I often have little to contribute in the comments sections.

On the Glasgow soup kitchen issue, https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=21283 would be a good place to start for anyone with a more investigative mind than me. Should be enough information there to get started for the Council owned LLP & the Council’s direct ownership.

It may be the case that Glasgow Uni has more suitable & a larger portfolio. I believe* that Edinburgh Uni is the 3rd wealthiest land/property owner in Scotland, so would expect Glasgow to be not far off the mark.

*Crown Estate & The Danish Billionaire top the list from my understanding.
