However, if he was removed, who would replace him? Just look at the others in his Party. Patel, Sunak, Gove, Truss, Rees-Mogg, Javid, Wallace, Barclay, Coffey. Does anyone seriously believe any of them or any other Tory will make the slightest bit of difference to the plight of the failing British Union?

The choices for the Union are dire it is akin to death by hanging or death by lethal injection. The solutions to UK’s problems will never be faced by any London based party. This Tory Government is more like a Cosa Nostra than a serious government. The corruption is quite open, £37 billion for a test and trace system that never worked. That is around 125% of Scotland’s annual block grant vanished on a failed app. Nobody has been held to account nor can anyone tell us how the money was spent. The courts have found Cabinet Ministers illegally handed out £ multimillion Covid related contracts to friends, family and donors. Again nobody faces criminal charges or even censure.
A financier who has donated £150,000 to the Tories has been made a life peer and given a ministerial job. Malcolm Offord, founder and chair of an Edinburgh-based “boutique investment” company, Badenoch and Co, will be made a life peer, a statement said. He will become a junior minister in Union Jack’s Scottish Office.This is the same Malcolm Offord that Scottish voters rejected at the ballot box in 2021. Holyrood Bills overturned by the Supreme Court in London saying they were outwith the competency of the Scottish Parliament. £1,000.00 UC removed from the poorest in society. Energy bills and food bills on the rise. Inflation at 4%. Disaster is looming and soon interest rates will need to rise to lower the inflation rate. This in turn means mortgages will become more expensive. Not only will this affect those just getting by it will also have a knock on effect in the rental market. Those landlords paying mortgages on their portfolios will raise rents to meet the increased mortgage costs. As always the buck stops with the poorest in our society. The wealthy just passes on the costs to the poorest. They get richer, the poor get poorer it is always the way in the neo Liberal economic UK world.
Empty supermarket shelves, fuel shortages, crops rotting in the fields and winter looms. Our neighbours in England are doomed. Scotland has a slim chance of escape. I only say slim because of who leads the Scottish Government. A cowardly woman with no vision or bottle for the fight. The Union has never been weaker. Our case has never been stronger. Yet our independence party does nothing to take advantage of the chaos in the union.
Now is the time to recall our MPs of all Parties. Now is the time to facilitate a Grand Assembly of the great and the good of Scotland. Now is the time to withdraw from the Treaty of Union and exert the sovereign will of the Scottish people. We will never have more favourable circumstances.This is the time to make our move.
Does Nicola Sturgeon truly believe that depending on Johnson and his Mafia is the best option for the people of Scotland? She needs to find courage from somewhere and act for Scotland and the Scottish people. The longer we delay the harder the recovery will be for Scotland. This is our last chance before the Tories neuter Holyrood completely.
