Webcom Radio is Now Playing: Funeral For A Friend - Out Of Reach

TASP Operation Thin Skin

This week we return to our normal shows. The month of March was spent on the road. We open the show with the regulars, Lloyd Quinan, Eva Comrie and Phil Boswell. We discuss the last month and our roadshows in Dundee, Perth, Dunfermline and Aberdeen.

Meeting some of the people that watch our shows help us in TASP keep focused on delivering what is important to our audience. The feedback and camaraderie were fantastic. Time and again and in every location the message was the same, the people want unity of the movement and they want independence now. No more division and internal fighting. The Political Parties better start paying attention. The public are sick and fed up with the self-promotion and squabbling. They want unity and action on independence, not virtue signalling, gravy slurping and junkets!

With both Parliaments closed things should have been relatively quiet. Indeed, if it had been so, perhaps we might have taken a week off too. However, with the SNP/Green Scottish Government’s discredited Hate Crime Bill coming into law on April 1st (How appropriate!) the panel had an issue that warranted detailed debate.

For the first time in 10 years a poll this week shows the British Labour Party leading the SNP in voting intentions for the Westminster Parliament in England. We debate if this is an outlier or a result of SNP/Green incompetence at Holyrood. Will the SNP arrest this decline in fortunes before the upcoming UK General Election or is their tiny Edinburgh political bubble hermetically sealed?

Over everything that is happening in Scotland and the UK the ongoing genocide in Gaza dominates the global news, and so it should. A terrible injustice is unfolding before us, and our politicians are ignoring the vast majority of the population and continue to support the slaughter and starvation of innocent civilians by the US backed Israeli apartheid regime in Palestine.

Six hundred UK lawyers including two ex-Supreme Court Justices have written to the UK Government warning that the ICJ ruling that there is in all likelihood a genocide in Palestine it is incumbent upon them as our government to do everything in its power to stop this atrocity. We debate, will the politicians listen or are they all compromised by Israeli funding?

All this and more on your favourite Scottish Political Review Show. Please enjoy, comment and share.
