We are back in the groove with our weekly shows. There was plenty to discuss this week with my panel of Phil Boswell, Eva Comrie and Lloyd Quinan. The biggest story of the week to affect Scotland actually occurred in England with the release of the Cass Report. This report has finally confirmed everything that the GC of this world have been saying now for several years. Puberty blockers are extremely dangerous and should not be given to vulnerable children. Nor should minors be rushed into transformative surgery at an early age. The recommendations in the report suggested a 25 years old threshold. Our group had plenty to say on this particular issue. Let us know if you agree with their views.
We also discuss the not surprising news that Police Scotland are swamped with vexatious complaints by the Tra zealots. Again, as expected.
Joanne Cherry claimed this week that voters are sick of Humza Yousaf’s virtue signalling politics. We ask if she is correct or could this maybe be the opening shots in a leadership challenge?
In the same week when the news of the wood burning stove ban we also saw the SNP and Greens telling voters not to vote for their coalition partners. A serious rift or just playing the UK Politics game of pretending to be enemies when the opposite is true? Staying on the gravy train makes people do silly things in the hope of conning the voters!
The latest polling once again has Independence over the threshold at 53%. However, the support for the SNP has slipped even further to 31% and for Alba 2% and sadly, ISP not even registering. Once again highlighting that a huge number of independence voters have little or no faith in the two parties and may well stay home if there is no Independent for Independence candidate standing in their constituency. It also is an opportunity for the Not My Parliament project to operate in certain constituencies.
The Scottish block grant is at the lowest % of the UK budget ever. We ask how is it that 8.9% of the UK population only get 3.5% of the total budget? The joys of being an English colony?
With most polling showing that England will elect a Red Tory government this time for us we discuss the comments this week from Wes Streeting the likely Health Secretary in any incoming UK/English Government. He suggests that only middle-class lefties object to further privatisation of the NHS. Apparently true lefties like Streeting love selling off the jewel in the welfare crown!
Lastly, we highlight the Brits and Devolutionists in New York for Tartan Day. Eva has a brilliant point to make on this particular story. Make sure you don’t miss it.

Although I wish it was, that really is not the case:
There have been 9 opinion polls that ask the Independence question during the course of 2024 to date. Excluding those that don’t know, won’t vote or won’t say the average of these is 49.5% for YES i.e. half the population, give or take.
The Ipsos poll at 53% (excluding undecided/abstainers/refusers) was carried using fieldwork from 25-31 January 2024, so a few months back and there hasn’t been another from this firm in order to compare. The Find Out Now poll from a little bit earlier (11-24 January 2024) registered YES at 52% whilst the most recent Renfield and Winfield survey (06-07 April 2024) has YES sentiment polling at 51% among those expressing a view.
The other 6 surveys recorded a lead for NO.

But essentially it’s a 50/50 split.
Not that it matters of course until such time as a campaign is commenced and a properly constructed referendum on Scotland’s constitutional arrangements is called.
What is crystal clear though, and the point you were making, is that a disconnect exists between YES sentiment and support for the supposedly pro-Independence political parties. (I am excluding the ‘Scottish’ Green Party from the latter as they have shown their true colours, which are neither green for the planet nor blue for Scotland).
From what I can glean this ‘Indy Gap’ seems to be somewhere in the region of 15%.

Great Prism today. I had quite a few chuckles. I have to agree with Lloyd on the removal of the head of Edinburgh Rape Crisis and, also, the head of Rape Crisis Scotland. I was fair stottin the other day when a rape victim had successfully sued the defence advocate for overstepping the mark and they wheeled in Sandy Brindley – the woman who insisted that that man remain in place. How dare she try to represent women’s trauma in those circumstances.
Is there anyone in the Scottish government who has either an IQ above 20 or a backbone? Do they all slither around like invertebrates who have been lobotomized. Michael Foran, who is one helluva asset to Scotland and he’s not even Scottish, explained in an interview that the SG had reneged on the promised meetings with women’s groups before both the GRRB and the Hate Crime Act, but managed to squeeze in a large number of meetings with Stonewall appointees. Can anyone explain the hold that these creeps have over our elected representatives, over so much of the population, at both Scottish and UK level? Are they scared of being cancelled. If they showed a bit of backbone towards these creeps, the majority of the population would cheer them on and they would probably not lose their votes, as they are doing now.
Eva didn’t mention it, but I think one helluva fight is coming over the horizon if and when the proposed (aye, right!) Misogyny Bill arrives, complete with ‘trans’ identified males. This will be the one where it will be impossible to look the other way because female rights will be in direct conflict with ‘trans’ male rights, and it is intended that females should lose. Oh, they will have some protection, but not where ‘trans’ male rights clash with theirs. This will be the icing on the cake of the Hate Crime Act for the ‘trans’ lobby. No one will be left in any doubt about just what is intended – and that is that females should occupy a second-class human status, not just a second-class sex class status or a second-class ‘gender’ status, and that will include even ‘trans’ identified females. When men started saying, TWAW, the biggest fight in the history of human rights became inevitable.
Independence is still growing, and will grow even stronger the more it is sidelined. The SNP has failed at every hurdle. Either it changes and unites with the other independence factions or it dies. As it is, it is a block on forward motion. I hope that the beating it is going to take in the GE will be a salutary lesson, but, the stupidity of so many within its ranks probably – very likely – precludes that, so a real tanking at the SE will become necessary. Let us strive to have something in place before then to keep the show on the road.

Another great Prism and great comments from the crew , I know Lloyd Quinan was an MP and is still a member of the snp ( because it is his party) but TBQH he would be a fantastic I4I candidate , the frustration he has with the continued avoidance for independence from all the political parties is shown in every Prism , I would ask Lloyd to consider standing as a independence independent MP to ensure the safety and security of his daughter and the other females within his family as well as the daughters , mothers and granddaughters of Scotland
I think you are right, twathater, but it would be up to Lloyd entirely. He has a very sharp mind and see through the guff very quickly. No party today could cope with anyone on its benches with his intelligence. He would have to be an independent, like Eva.
