In May this year, a historic set of circumstances prevailed at the ballot boxes in the Celtic nations. In all three nations, the secessionist parties all won their respective elections. Now, for the first time ever, the three First Ministers of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are nationalists. It has always been the case since 1707 that the Prime Minister at Westminster is and always has been an English nationalist.
The Plaid Cymru leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth; the Scottish National Party leader, John Swinney; Sinn Féin’s vice-president, Michelle O’Neill; and the president and leader of the opposition in Ireland, Mary Lou McDonald, met in Cardiff on Monday to sign a memorandum of understanding recognising that “the political landscape across these islands is changing.”
The leaders of Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have said Westminster is “no longer working” for the devolved nations and say there is a need to look at the way the countries are governed.
The document commits to them working together on jobs, the economy, and energy, but also speaks about their respective hopes for independence.” The political landscape across these islands is changing,” the jointly signed letter reads. It also says the election results from May, which saw nationalist parties in charge of all three nations, show “there could be no clearer sign that Westminster’s time is coming to an end.”
This is very symbolic; however, the question remains: is it the game changer all us supporters of breaking the Union desire, or is it merely performative? Will the three parties act in unison? Will, for example, the SNP and Plaid MPs abstain from sitting in the Westminster chamber? In future, will all three parties refuse to take any sort of oath to the monarch of England?
One thing is for sure: this meeting has caused a meltdown in the unionist ranks. We shouldn’t be surprised; these same English nationalists get triggered at road signs in the Celtic nations that use Celtic languages alongside English place names.
They do tend to take things very personally; indeed, they are affronted that their Celtic colonies could even contemplate leaving their grasp. When England wanted to leave the European Union, it was all about English/British (same thing) self-determination, patriotism, democracy, and taking decisions in the interests of the British people- that decisions taken in-country are always the best outcomes, etc. etc.
However, when any of the Celtic countries express a desire to leave the British Union, it is because they hate the English; that is the sole reason as far as the Anglo-Brits are concerned. In this undemocratic British Union, you must agree with everything that the English ruling class believes and never ever express a contrary view.
There is no allowance for dissent. Unlike the EU, where every nation has a vote and a veto, in the British Union only England has a vote and veto. The Celtic nations have to always submit to the will of England. That was amply exposed when in 2016 Scotland voted by 62% to 38% to remain in the EU and was dragged out against its will.

EXCEPT FOR VIEWERS IN SCOTLAND,WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND.

Despite this, the Unionist parties showed their truly undemocratic side. Indeed, the extreme- right Anglo-Nationalist Restore Party are on record as saying if they come into power they will roll back devolution and return to a direct London rule model.
Let us be very clear: devolution throughout the British Union only came to be because the Anglos saw that the Celtic nations were getting restless inside the Union and domination from what is, to all intents and purposes, an English Parliament!
Enoch Powell’s famous phrase “power devolved is power retained” means that when a central government gives local or regional bodies some authority to govern, the central government still keeps ultimate legal control. Now the Anglos think that is not a big enough safeguard to maintain English hegemony over the Celtic nations.
This is why powers over broadcasting, immigration, or full fiscal autonomy were not devolved. Scotland is, after all, the money tree for the bankrupted England. Wales is the water supply for the arid English. Electricity, gas, and oil are taken/stolen from Scotland at no cost and resold back into the nation at the highest prices in Europe.
Similarly, with Welsh Water (Dŵr Cymru), charges are based on the cost of managing local infrastructure rather than a fixed cross-border difference, meaning bills in Wales are generally higher than the average in England due to a sparse population covering a large, aging network.
Several prominent reservoirs and lakes in Wales were built or modified specifically to pipe fresh water across the border to major English cities. This water is the same water that is more expensive in Wales. It is called colonisation, pure and simple. This reality is still denied by some in the respective Celtic movements. It is time to face up to the reality: all the Celtic parts of the union are English colonies!
This is the main topic of discussion on today’s Through A Scottish Prism. My panel of Phil Boswell, Eva Comrie, and Mark Mair dissect and discuss all of this and more. Other topics covered include the cancellation of the proposed ferry route from Rosyth to Dunkirk. (Midweek I will have a TASP special with Alf Baird and Douglas Chapman to discuss this and the recent Salvo initiative at UN Geneva.) GB Energy is exposed as yet another Labour Party lie, the First Lord of the Admiralty wanting an expanded Royal Navy so England can go to war with Russia! Of course, if God forbid that ever comes to pass, it will be the Celts in the front lines and the Nigels in reserve.
We also have a segment on the hypocrisy of Gordon Brown and political donations.

A fraternal meeting with President Connoly the liason was enjoyed by all.
But meanwhile, in Edinburgh the news was the Edinburgh University was culling many of its courses.
For those thinking that Edinburgh university is a Scottish university here is a sample of courses being deleted.
The cuts include a massive evisceration of cultural knowledge and learning in the country’s capital, including the following:
Religious Studies and Scottish Literature (UG)
History of Art and Scottish Literature (UG)
Celtic and Scottish Lit (UG)
Celtic (UG)
Celtic and Archaeology (UG)
Celtic and English Language (UG)
Scottish Ethnology (UG)
Scottish Ethnology and Scandinavian Studies (UG)
Scottish Ethnology and English Language (UG)
Scottish Literature single honours (UG)
Scottish Literature and Classics (UG)
Scottish Literature and Scottish History (UG)
Scottish Literature and History (UG)
This leaves some hard questions not least in what sense is Edinburgh University a Scottish university at all and is there a drive to eradicate Scottish history, culture and language.
The colonial destruction goes on.
