On this midweek’s Through A Scottish Prism, I am joined by two giants of the independence movement, Professor Alf Baird and Douglas Chapman. Those of you who are regular viewers of our podcast will know my two guests have worked collaboratively on both Salvo-Liberation and their efforts on the international stage in trying to reinstate a ferry service from Scotland to Europe.
Plans for a ferry between Rosyth and Dunkirk have been scrapped.
Forth Ports said it had concerns over the “long-term viability” of the proposed route between Rosyth in Fife and Dunkirk in northern France.
The port owners had been in talks with Danish shipping company DFDS over operating the route after the Scottish and UK governments each committed £3m to the project.
However, Forth Ports said its focus had shifted to “delivering alternative activity at the port” after considering “a number of important economic factors.”
Both the Scottish and UK governments said they were “disappointed” with the decision.
Well, at least that is the version we have been told. Like most, if not all matters, we are given a narrative by our masters via the BBC etc., and we are supposed to accept that as gospel and get back in our boxes. It doesn’t matter if it is about a ferry route or the threat of WWIII; we are to accept the establishment story and never question anything.
Therefore, it is excellent to have these two good men on Prism today to give you a lot more insight and background into the real reasons behind this act of economic savagery.
It was also a chance to get the latest updates on the Salvo-Liberation efforts at the UN in Geneva. Douglas has only just returned from Geneva where he was part of the delegation in Switzerland. I am sure you will find everything these stalwarts bit as interesting and informative as I did when talking to them both.
If there is anyone left in Scotland that is still trying deny our colonial status I suggest you get them to watch this podcast.

Interesting to the walk out of English reform from Holyrood. I wonder what the panels thoughts are on that drama.?
Well, presumably as a lot of us, me included, would have liked to have seen the SNP MPs walk out of Westminster on a point of principle, we can hardly complain if Reform MSPs actually managed to do that at Holyrood on a point with which they profoundly disagreed.

Like the NHS reorganisation proposal he made to reduce boards from fourteen to two his ‘ made in Scotland ‘ plan has an uncanny similarity with the plan in England to abolish NHS England this year and reorganize the forty two health trusts into twelve Integrated Care Bodies that will come under the wing of department of Health and Social Care.
With no NHS England anymore a road to privatisation perchance and then you hear that the word on the wards in Scotland is privatisation .
