Midweek Through A Scottish Prism—- Can The Movement Unite?

We are continuing our midweek podcasts with different members and organisations in the independence movement. Regular viewers of our podcasts know that for years now we have been advocating unity in the movement as the only assured way of securing our ultimate aim of independence.

While many of the good folk involved in the struggle believe they are the singular act that will bring independence, we continue to showcase as many of the parties and organisations as we can. Our aim is to bring unity to our efforts.

We truly believe that if the entire movement unites as one, we are unstoppable. We are, as a movement, our own worst enemies at times. The purists in our midst are the worst. It is impossible to have everything perfect before advancing the cause. In every aspect of life, we all have to compromise at times or work alongside people whom we do not always agree with on every aspect of policy.

Our opponents love to exploit those divisions, be it;: Gender, Palestine, Ukraine, abstentionism, Section 30 referendums, plebiscite elections, NATO membership, immigration, franchises for elections, ——whatever——— the enemies of Scottish independence exploit those differences and drive wedges between us. We have to stop allowing this to happen by compromising and embracing the different views in our collective.

It does not help that the largest political party is the biggest obstacle to unity. Nor does it help that many supporters of independence view any criticism of the SNP as union support. They are as bad as the Zionists who attack any criticism of the Israeli government as antisemitism.

Our view is that we need a constitutional convention of the willing as a first step in unifying the movement. This particular podcast may just start that long-held desire. This week I am joined by Alex Neil, ex-SNP MSP, Cabinet Secretary, and long-term member of the party.

In the coming weeks, I will bring more of those who support the cause to the Prism Podcast. You may not agree with everything that is said or proposed. The only non-negotiable to appear is a belief in independence, nothing less.

  • If there’s a land tax,we should compel the big landowners to build hooses on the big land to add value.
Those homes could easy be sold to English people, who mite be able to afford a second home, and pay the high mark up,especially now Europe is less friendly.

The triple locked pension should also help incentivise the decision.

The new council houses will definitely be needed by the new English who will be urgently required to provide the services to the New Pensioners, from the old country.

I’m never the smartest guy in any room, but even I can see, absolutely nothing could ever go wrong!
    Count me in !

If we all try just a little harder, we absolutely will definitely get them voting for Independence.

    Job done !

  • Good to see a Crowdfunder by WoS to raise money to fund a Judicial Review to.purse why the Police and the Crown Office Procurator Fiscal Service have refused to investigate and pursue who was guilty of embezzlement of nearly £700K of money specifically solicited for a ringfenced fund to fight the next referendum..

Our police and prosecution service have utterly failed our country and refusing to pursue established fraud.

Readers seeking to assist secure a legal judgement exposing the rotten partisan behaviour of our compromised police and prosecution may wish to donate.
