Webcom Radio is Now Playing: Eels - Susan's House

Is this the Election that will signal the end of the UK?

The election has been called, and the parties have switched to campaigning mode. The Tories will try to defend their record in office, good luck with that! Labour will try to convince the English voters they are bigger Tories than the real Tories. In Scotland they will try to pretend they are going to be loyal to Scotland this time not England. Believe that if you like!

The SNP while trying to convince you that only a vote for them can lead to independence. Well its worked for the last 8 elections why shouldn’t they try that lie again. It seems the Scots voters love the carrots.

Here on TASP we have not disguised our total contempt for the party system. All of them put their party’s best interests and needs before those of the nations! We can no longer support that.

On this midweek edition we bring you Eva Comrie and Sally Hughes the two Indy4indy candidates in Alloa & Grangemouth and Perth and Kinrosshire respectively. For those of you not fortunate enough to live in these constituencies we also have Allan Petrie of Not My Parliament to tell you how you can still use your vote for the cause.

My guests tell me how their campaigns are going already. They tell us where you can go, phone, mail, visit their websites to help them in their quest to win those seats. Hear how they plan to win and how they intend to behave after those victories.

In the coming weeks we will bring you other Independence candidates from all the parties. We will also try and encourage any unionists that wish to appear and tell our viewers about the positive case for the union.

The answer is no, it will not signal the end of our colonisation by England, but it might just be the wake-up call that the colony needs right now. All the established parties are Tory now, just a different colour of the same right wing shit that will continue to see our resources being stolen for profit by the few while things just get worse in every area due to being a colony, and a standard of politicians that make dog shit look like posh cheesecake. I am not voting in an English Parliament election ever again, there is no point, it just gives them the argument that we are taking part so they have a mandate to govern the colony, I am not giving them that mandate from myself.

I don’t see anything changing as far as SNP/Alba are concerned, the fake colony unionist parties are just so brainwashed, bought and sold, traitors, quislings, that they are a lost cause. Independent candidates just maintains the perceived mandate that we agree to take part in this farce of a union. It is not a union as anyone with a brain knows, it is an English Parliament that allows the dirty unwashed from the colonies to sit in, get a little bit of English Gold, get laughed at, disrespected, while they allow their colonies to be shat on, not for me anymore.

I really believe the only way to get a message across is to not take part at all, over 50% of voters not taking part really sends a message. A spoiled ballot, a vote for an independent candidate, or anyone from SNP/Alba just plays the British game by English rules, they can shove it.

Thanks for the Prism, I still enjoy it, and that draw at Dens lol.

  • If no candidate from Alba , ISP or independents for Independence are standing the only thing to do with the ballot paper is write across if #Endtheunion.

  • I don’t think there is a pro- indy candidate running in the Stirling & Strathallan constituency. So it will be ‘End the Union’ for me on my ballot paper. I will not vote for Alyn Smith.

  • The truth is. England and WM don’t care whether 60% of us stay at home, or 60% vote SNP.

They have us where they want us. Trapped in the Union. Our Mps playing the WM game. As Roddy implied the parties have let us down, and will continue to do so.

Independence can only come when there is a popular uprising of the people. Sadly we are not the Irish. So I can’t see this happening either.

I am not sure of the future of Scotland. But it looks really grim indeed.

  • I have a lot of sympathy with Big Jock but I really think #End the Union, if enough of us do that, will get the publicity we need and people will begin to realise that there is a way out, other than voting for the SNP, who do nothing when they have the power. They will lose a lot of power after this election because many of us already see that they have failed us.
If they lose being the third biggest party in Westminster, they will lose a lot of short money which helps fund the SNP party machine. That might give a new party a chance, but folk wont vote for it unless they are sure they wont be betrayed again.
Bottom line is that its up to us as a people. We are sovereign!
