Today I am joined by three Middle Eastern experts. Dr. Anas Altikriti.
Anas was born in Iraq in 1968 and moved to the UK at age 3. He holds a Masters in Translation & Interpreting from Edinburgh and a PhD in Political Science from London.
He lectured at several UK Universities from 1995 until 2012. A leading figure in the international Anti-War movement and an Anti-Racism campaigner, Altikriti is a past President of the Muslim Association of Britain, a campaigner for Palestinian rights, a hostage negotiator, media commentator (both Arabic and English) and a professional trainer in Media, Politics and Public Relations.
He heads up the influential think tank, The Cordoba Foundation, and works alongside many others to prove that the so-called clash of civilisations is neither inevitable nor necessary.
His views as a Middle East analyst are highly sought after both home and overseas.
Professor David Miller is a British sociologist whose research and publications focus on Islamophobia and media propaganda.
He was controversially fired in October 2021 and, after losing his appeal against his termination, he now plans to take his case to an employment tribunal this October.
David Miller’s sacking came after a six-month investigation, a disciplinary hearing and two internal investigations following a series of complaints against him, which were made after a 2019 lecture on Islamophobia and statements regarding Jewish students at the university in early 2021.
He was cleared by all internal investigations that found his comments did not constitute unlawful speech.
Despite the controversy his work has been widely acclaimed in the Arab world.

What about Egypt that used to be the main power broker in the region? The replant in the room is as you would expect, Palestine. My guests against all norms and narratives suggest that a two nation solution in Palestine is unworkable, unrealistic and unlikely. Hear the alternative solution they say is the only practicable resolution.
