You are also hitting the nail on the head about needing more “everything”.
SSRG last night had an interesting Zoom conference about International recognition, and whether we choose to pursue Indy through Democracy, or the Claim of Right, or breached Treaty of Union, but there is no “threshold” which you cross which guarantees recognition.
International Recognition will be the prerogative of the foreign nation giving it. There is no rule book as such, and it could quite easily take a combined endeavour of all three strategies to persuade foreign Nations to extend recognition.
Just because one strategy flounders or fails to persuade on it’s own, the “failed” attempt can still be persuasive evidence which registers with foreign governments, and helps win them over because Scotland is exhausting all possible avenues to find a harmonious route to Indy.
I won’t say more, because I don’t want to steal their thunder, but that’s just a taster of the type of thing the SSRG and SALVO will be bringing forward at their conferences, but down the line a wee bit, we really want this stuff to be getting out there and to the people.

You just keep them coming, Roddy, and they are all brilliant. In Ireland, when Sinn Fein grew in strength to overtake the Irish party of Redmond, they did actually recruit many to their cause from the latter party. The same reasons for the Irish party’s demise pertained as pertain to the SNP today: too comfy and probably within the embracing arms of the British State. This is, essentially, how all opposition parties are subverted. By opposition, I mean any party that is out of step with English Tory preoccupations. The English elites (supplemented by the British elites) are very happy to allow some opposition to continue in order to give the impression that there is such a thing as opposition, but, in reality, there is not.
The ‘trans’ issue come north from London, having originated in billionaire’s row in America, and the ‘trans’ lobby subverted Scotland’s party of independence by infiltration and infection. The SNP behaves exactly in the same way as Stonewall and the ‘trans’ lobby, so, not only has Stonewall captured the party, but it has captured Scotland, too, and it is here, Yvonne that the first real signs of strife will come. I believe you are right in saying that something is going to snap, and it almost always comes via a combination of inertia and overreach. The fact that the ‘trans’ umbrella now offers shelter to MAPs (Minor Attracted People) and wants it to be declared, legally, a sexual orientation instead of a perversion as it is now under the law, may well be the final straw for many.
A pretendy wee referendum, Denise, is exactly the fear that many of us have because that will disable independence for at least an entire generation, if not longer – or, it will do the opposite and create the perfect conditions for an uprising.
Phil: you are right about the EU being a player in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. It was the EU that kept pushing, perhaps at the behest of the Americans, for Ukraine to join the EU against the obvious signs from the Kremlin that Russia, without its own acceptance in Europe, would view such a blatant move towards greater European integration as anathema. NATO is just half the equation. The Western media has been extremely neglectful of reality here. Europe, as an independent bloc, between America and the East, but without Russia, is not really feasible, and the Americans don’t appear to want it to be except as a cipher for their own interests, which, of course, Russia could never contemplate, anyway.
SALVO/SSRG will become the way forward when enough people see it. They don’t at the moment, certainly not the Nicola sycophants. I have been disgusted by the way that so many men in this part of the movement have been willing to sacrifice women and children to the great goddess of perfidy. She is making an absolute tool of the membership, and so many just can’t, or won’t, see it. It’s the Vercingetorix solution (sacrifice the women and children so that you can fight Rome and Caesar without ‘distractions’). It didn’t work for the ‘hero’ of Gaul and it won’t work for the SNP membership. He and his people were still slaughtered and enslaved, and so will we. Fight the ‘trans’ infection and we have a chance of bringing down this pernicious bunch and establishing a proper fight for Scotland’s soul and future because they are precisely the enemy within.
Great history lessons: so few people know about the massacre of Dundee; the rapes and pillaging and slaughtering of unarmed men, women and children; and the destruction and theft of Scotland’s records. You do that to people you despise and believe to be inferior.
It is an interesting observation that the Irish monks did not mention having to learn Pictish to make themselves understood generally, and there is a school of thought that offers the explanation that the Pictish peoples and the Irish were more alike than not, even in language. It would explain a lot, but it may not be accurate, of course. Some day, someone might be able to thoroughly decipher the Pictish monuments.
Roddy, so many are still all “wheesht for indy” that they won;t have a word said against the SNP and will never turn against them. I just don;t know how we persuade them and open their eyes to what is going on.
Perhaps your history guy could enlighten the people who run “Keep Scotland the Brand” who seem to have been unaware about the the fact that the bicycle was invented in Scotland.

Can I put forward a suggestion , we ALL know the SEVERE impact this cost of living crisis is causing , especially amongst the poorest but NOT restricted to the poorest we are ALL suffering , and come autumn and winter that impact will multiply and quite honestly I forecast many people will consider suicide as a way out of their MISERY
YVONNE speaks about an uprising of the people to protest , my wife and I attended quite a few AUOB marches and enjoyed the camaraderie of purpose but we have VOWED not to attend the current ones because they are hijacked fraudulently to imply support for sturgeon and her REVILED policies , MANY of the woke marchers are now walking with placards and posters supporting and pushing sturgeon’s GRA rather than independence
My suggestion is , ALBA have representatives throughout Scotland , AUOB have proven they have the expertise to organise and produce marches , why don’t the two get together with ISP , NOW SCOTLAND , SSRG , SALVO , and ANY other REAL independence organisations to organise EITHER many local PROTEST marches to take place on the same day throughout Scotland with representatives from the aforementioned organisations speaking about the desperation for independence NOW and DEMANDING Sturgeon MOVE NOW , OR RESIGN
OR alternatively hold 2 MAIN marches in Edinburgh and Glasgow at the same time on the same day with the relevant organisations booking buses to bring people to either city to participate , again with the same organisations concentrating on the DESPERATE need for independence NOW and DEMANDING Sturgeon MOVE NOW OR RESIGN
We managed in the past to get over 100,000 people to take part in both cities while Sturgeon and the MSM media ignored us , surely if it is ADVERTISED as a PROTEST AGAINST the SPIRALLING COSTS of LIVING and ENERGY by ALL the independence organisations in an ENERGY RICH country while our SG does NOTHING to combat it whilst at the same time focusing , concentrating and prioritising allowing MEN in to women and girls safe spaces
As a continuation , surely this protest March or marches could be organised pretty quickly surely as early as August to possibly take advantage of ANY good weather , as everyone knows unlike Nicla time is NOT on our side

Protest march(es) are important to do as much as possible – and yes all future protest marches should be specifically targeted at the serving Scottish politicians of our home government who are not performing even adequately on behalf of independence or our country – as the people of iScotland would expect.
Yeah as discussed on here yesterday, not only is it the promised things that have not been delivered as multiply mandated, it’s the subsequent actions which have been carried out upon Scotland by a ukgov which have gone completely unchallenged by the NewSNP party (Circa late ’14). This sequence of events would not have been allowed to have been carried out should Alex Salmond have remained as First Minister of and for Scotland.
Challenges… when have any physical challenges (to unionist politicians) been made by NS? Where were the safeguards? It’s been mentioned many a time now, that the leader of the NewSnp was obligated to exercise our legal and lawful rights at the point the rotUK voted to leave the EU (where sovereign Scotland voted to remain). In an alternative scenario, where after numerous warnings would have been given to Westminster by any genuine iScottish First Minister, a declarative speech would have been delivered and all of the necessary paperwork would have been ready-waiting and served upon ukgov at this trigger point.
In pulling and activating that sovereign trigger, Scotland’s automatic backstop would have come into crystal creation with immediate effect. That’s what raw material sovereignty… (as I have learned) does.
