Today I am broadcasting a Craig Murray Special Edition Prism Show. Firstly let me apologise for the delay. We have encountered technical problems uploading the file to YouTube. Absolutely nothing we could do to speed it up.
It was not our intention to do any TASP Shows until Holyrood reconvened in September. The tragic and in our view improper incarceration of Craig was something we could not let pass without comment.
You will not be surprised to hear that I am opposed and appalled at this draconian sentence that has been imposed upon a fellow independence commentator. It seems nowadays if you support Independence, ALBA Party, Alex Salmond and women’s rights you are a target of the SNP Scottish Government and the very dubious COPFS.
As we discuss on this edition, it seems there are an entirely different set of laws and definitions for supporters of the above. We need to fight back against all these injustices. Please enjoy and let us have your thoughts and comments.
Unfortunately a number of pro Indy sites have turned out to be merely pro SNP sites and have blocked a number of bloggers, including myself. We have managed to frustrate these efforts to close us down through our readers sharing our articles and building our audience. In addition many have taken out free direct subscriptions. I very much appreciate this support.
Webcom Radio is Now Playing:
I’m ashamed at the state of Scotland’s Justice System and the Scottish Government, unfortunately at this present time we can’t differentiate between the two as both go hand in hand as far as corruption goes. I feel a total fool for believing that giving SNP my first vote was the correct thing to do, hell will freeze over before I give this toxic party another vote
Dorrian’s a willing tool in the system, and happy to do whatever’s necessary to facilitate Sturgeon’s agenda. The sentence handed to Craig alone is ample evidence of her intent to help crush those who continue the fight for independence, or challenge the cult, on behalf of Sturgeon.
I would trust her in a non jury court case as far as I could throw Vladivostok.
I hope, if there’s a real inquiry after Independence, should we ever get the chance, that Dorrian is thoroughly questioned, and vigorously held to account, along with Sturgeon and her personality cult, the crown office, and all the elected SNP cowards in HR and WM who failed to hold all the perpetrators of the destruction of Scottish legal integrity, to a consequence that would go some way toward remedying such a dreadful malaise.
It was great to see you all assembled, and talking these issues through. I was there on Friday at At Leonard”s and then at the Parliament where Craig made his speech.
It was wonderful to see Mark there with us… Especially after what happened to him.
Craig’s speech is on YouTube at https://youtu.be/mu46rhAWXic
It’s a fine speech, he mentions that he will be in for a shorter time than Daniel Hale, who has been put away for whistleblowing about drone strike collateral damage… And that he will be treated better.
It struck me quite forcibly that this was a kind of decency that I shouldn’t have to witness. CM is a very decent man… In one of his jokes he said, “if I really did want you to know who the accusers were, you would all know who the accusers were”. Had he the malice in him, I have no doubt he could have let us know the names, and kept himself out of harm’s way.
I don’t want to think of him in jail tonight. Like Roddy, I am angry. Like Iain, I think we have been asleep at the wheel. Like Mark, I think this is just the beginning.
And back to Craig… No Matter how urbane, circumspect or accepting, he is, I don’t agree that it’s ok that he will have to protest his incarceration in aid of the next journalist who will suffer the same fate… he knows he will have served 8 months before the appeal to the ECJ will be settled… It’s actually tonight that Craig shouldn’t be in jail… And tomorrow night, and the next 240 nights…
This is a shameful moment in Scottish history… Incarcerating CM after following so much judicial process is right up there with smoothly operating institutional sectarianism and professionally administering the slave trade.
This decision is wrong. And it challenges decency. It challenges bonhomie. It challenges fair play. It is a march of pure power through a very positive campaign for Scottish Independence. I would like to see you freed and every minute you have worried about this, or thought about it, or spent in jail given back to you.
Respect.
Lovely comment Tom.
A great discussion I was the same mind as Roddy regards Nicola I wouldn’t hear a disparaging remark against her. That was then and this is now. When the facts change your opinion changes. In my opinion she is no more than a colonial administrator who surrounds herself with she/ her people. How many mandates does a government need? Like many cults they don’t last long. Please God whoever your God may be let this cult end soon for the benefit of Scottish independence.
Thanks, Roddy.
It’s super to see you back… Sad that it’s for this. Heart-breaking times.
That said, the show and the format is looking grand.
Hope you had a brilliant holiday.
Respect.
Excellent discussion Roddy.
Iain Lawson is right – there were no witnesses in Craig’s case. And no complainer either, other than COPFS. Who are COPFS? Well, that would be what George Osborne calls one of ‘the arms of the British state in Scotland’. As Mark and Iain say, Craig Murray is a ‘political prisoner’, prosecuted and imprisoned by the ‘arms’ of the British state. And COPFS is run by a former MI5 operative. So the prosecution system in Scotland is basically run by UK secret services, quelle surprise. Scotland is a colony – so this should be no surprise. This also has a lot to do with Scotland already having the largest prison population per head in Western Europe, a feature only too typical of colonial rule.
These ‘arms’ will go after any indy campaigner that they want to, whilst immunity is guaranteed for those on the other side, even rather obvious perjurers. Which confirms Scotland’s colonial reality, where any native independence campaigner can expect little in the way of justice. As good as any reason to eject the lot of them.
SNP inaction on this reflects its lack of interest or impetus on independence. The SNP now support UK state action against independence campaigners, in its ‘accommodation with colonialism’, which tells us all we need to know about where their allegiance lies, and its not to an independent Scotland. All SNP MPs and MSPs need to consider their position, as a matter of urgency. Are they loyal to the NS cult and the UK union, or to the liberation of the Scottish people? At the moment they are all party to deceit and barbarity.
Exile? Forget it. Not for these or any other pathological tyrants.
I can’t believe there are still people willing to excuse Sturgeon and her clique for this and blame the ‘British state’.
Those are the people keeping us in the no-man’s-land of “next year for sure” that Sturgeon has been saying since she inherited power from Salmond.
The trajectory of the the SNP and the fate of Scottish electorate has been perfectly mapped out by in “Animal Farm”. The policies may differ but the consolidation of power to by the leadership, rewarding of the loyal, purging of the “unclean” and subversion of internal checks and balances is behaviours we are all to familiar with from Westminster.
The SNP has been corrupted by being in power. As you look from Holyrood to Westminster can you really see any difference between them? The indy movement has been betrayed by a leadership which is venal, vindictive and intolerent.
Sadly I suspect that we are further away from Indy now than at any time in the last 7 years which given the current govenment in Westminster, Brexit and mismanagement of COVID is a damning indictment on the lack of real desire within the party to campaign and pursue what should be it’s raison d’etre.
Nicola claims she wants independence but under the Jackboot of the EU.
While at the same time trundling out the elite Bankers, Insurance, Globalists, world Economic Forum, WHO, Gates and Clinton Foundations New World Order. All to ensure that Global the financial reset, allowing the CABAL to cancel it’s debt and steal everything, takes place. “You will own nothing but you”ll be happy”
Aye Nicola that’ll be some independence.
As you continue to lie to us all about the number of new covid “CASE” when you are in fact talking about false positive PCR test gained by running the tests at an insane number of cycles
Nicola, your liar, a fraud and you can’t be trusted. Your also a lawyer, so your first legal oath was to who Nicola, certainly not to the people of this land.
Oh and let’s not forget your Gifting of the people owned old Scottish parliament builings now the Court of Session buildings, renovated at a cost of 65 million pounds then given to the Society of advocates. It wasn’t your to give.
That’s how much you think of the people.
Independence? No Nicola, your just a puppet for the NWO Nazi’s.
Oh dear another anti vax Brexiteer fanny. Away with your pish.
I watched your programme late last night, Roddy. Listening to the three of you did give me hope for Scotland’s future and now, reading the comments above, I realise that as long as we have highly intelligent, worthwhile people in the movement for Scottish Independence we will get there in spite of the horrific corruption within our government. My thanks to you all.
has salmond made a comment about craig ?
Years ago myself and others pointed out how corrupt the courts were and cited the violation of Article 6 in the case against Indycamp. That the same Article is used to violate Craig Murray’s rights does not surprise me. Nor that it was an active independence and rights campaigner that was targeted. They needed someone to set an example and as someone they already had their eyes on he was the perfect candidate for them. It is truly sickening what Scotland has turned into and the excuses made to justify it. If you are not outraged at the corruption, the attempted removal of fundamental, inalienable and inherent rights and the examples being made to quell any dissent from the establishments, both Scots and English, then you have already lost your way. Only when the last right has been removed will they ask, what happened? Well, folk were warned. They have now been made an example of, at the great expense of a man’s health and liberty, and they will not stop until every last right has been removed. Internationally recognised and protected rights are already being attacked. Sex based rights, freedom of speech are just two of the most obvious ones that most folk will be aware of but there are others such as the rights to privacy and liberty which encompasses so much. It is indeed a sad day for Scotland. A country whose legal system was held in high esteem. Whose people were looked upon favourably but now reduced to a totalitarian political mess. Scared to assert their rights, unaware what their actual rights are and beholden to a foreign country’s government whether in direct support of it or through the patsies that form the Scottish government and its administration. If they had any decency they would not allow political prisoners to be held in Scotland nor attempt to imprison an innocent man but they have none. Even those very few that hold their heads above the parapet receive no support. Instead they are attacked and when threats are made against them they are made an example of at party level. Toe the line or you will be next. What kind of message does that send to the wider movement? To those who are loyal to a fault? Isn’t it time for them to reflect and change allegiance instead of permitting blind loyalty to hold sway? Scotland has fallen and it was not through the English establishment who have taken advantage where they could but by Scotland’s own. It is time for the Scots to hold their own to account and demand change.
Friend who spoke atBurns Suppers said he won’t do so again as will many other such speakers, as scared of new hate crime law ans someone taking offence
