Caroline in her informative contribution gave truth to the lie this SNP Government listens to concerned public opinion unless of course it is expressed by organisations sponsored by Scot-Gov. Shona Robison is one of Sturgeons originally anointed and her (Robisons) variously held appointments to office are stained throughout by nepotism and incompetence.

We have been here so many times in the past, folks, and it never, but never, ends well. Every civilisation there has ever been that has collapsed and disintegrated, and there have been many – Roman, Greek, Spartan, Mayan, Chinese, et al – have all disintegrated in the same way. Gender and sexual predilections have been pushed to the point of collapse of the society. The Italian-American philosopher/historian, Camille Paglia, has researched this thoroughly. We have reached a point in our civilisation that could mean that extreme and predatory capitalism (American-style) – which is consuming the planet – can go no further without changing direction into very real Frankenstein and Draculean consumption (metaphorically speaking) of human beings. The Scottish government is utterly wedded to American-style capitalism, in common with Westminster.
In the past, however, by and large, women have not been involved, having had few to no rights. This time, in the West, it is very much a war against the distaff side, but it is entirely about men (not all, by any means) and their ‘loss’ of their own humanity and sense of purpose. It is, and never was about women because we simply don’t exist as human beings for these people, and it’s not about people with body dysphoria – those are smokescreens – but, predominantly, about people with what is classed, even now, as deviant sexual appetites and fetishes. I would disagree strongly with Yvonne that it is all about trans activists. The social media platforms tell a very different story: many trans identified males (and females) are also activists, and many non-trans identified activists may well have hidden proclivities that they want legalised.
Caroline: what they want is everything that is women’s and girls’ and they will not stop till they get everything. The GRA reform and self-ID are just the beginning. GRA reform, everyone, is totally unnecessary because same-sex legislation has superseded the 2004 GRA. There is no right that the rest of us have that trans identified people do not have. As for the allocation of funding: why dos no one ever ask what Stonewall Scotland, Trans Alliance Scotland, Trans Youth Scotland and all the other arms DO with the money. Women’s allocation go to fund services for women and girls. Where are the services for distressed trans identified people provided from the trans funding?
I expect the majority of funding goes on salaries and fat expenses with no accountability.
Very likely, that and propaganda. I do think that it is something they should be called out on, though, because it looks more and more as if the targeting of female spaces and rights was long in the planning and real concern for the welfare of trans identified people – either in the physical or the mental health areas – is of little importance, so, yes, self-serving, self-perpetuating organisations.
