The title of this week’s podcast kind of gives away the main thrust of our discussions. Sadly, Lloyd was unable to be with us this week, not to worry he will be back this midweek. I am ably assisted by a great panel consisting of everyone’s favourite lawyer, Eva Comrie, father of the bride Phil Boswell and newbie John Wight.
We begin our show with a discussion regarding Stephen Flynn refusing to sing the English National Anthem at last Sundays jingoistic chest beating war celebration by the Brits in London. Long ago it stopped being about Remembrance for those brave souls that gave their life for Mother England.
For several decades now it has become a festival for the Little Englander warmongers. They spend the week promoting the myth that they won the war single handedly. The reality is, of course, at best they never lost it. The winning was done by others. Like all our history the truth has been masked to promote a fable.(How many even know that Brazil entered the war on the side of the western allies?)
As our deliberations show Stephen managed to go from hero to zero within a matter of a few days. His decision to run for a Holyrood seat and retain his Westminster sinecure has not played well with voters or his fellow party members. He compounded this misstep by wanting to take the seat of an existing MSP, Audrey Nicol who has shown no sign of wanting to either step down or step aside.
Stephen was joined on the naughty step by Nicola of Assisi Murell, nee Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf both who have decided to take the Kenny Dalglish attitude to standing in 2026, mibbes aye and mibbes naw! This lack of commitment is a trait of these two. It is all about how they feel nearer the time or as I cynically suggest how the polls are looking!
To all three I suggest have forgotten why we elected them in the first place. It was not to feather their own nests or to advance their careers. To all elected SNP members I say this, you have one job and one job only it seems you have forgotten that simple fact.
As for Michael Matheson, if there is ever a category for brass necks, he and Sturgeon will be fighting it out to be declared the winner!
Down at Westminster that fact has certainly evaded the grifters grifter Pete Wishart who thinks his job is to raise a motion calling for reform in the English House of Lords! What a clown that man is, one job Pete fixing England’s lack of democracy is not that one job!
Other topics we had to discuss include John Mcternan that well-known Blairite Labour stooge who wants Starmer to treat small farmers in the same manner as Thatcher treated the miners! He even suggested we do not need the farmers in the UK. We imagine he thinks we should just import 100% of our food! This is because John thinks farmers, indeed nobody has a right to criticise the Labour Government, let alone take to the streets to plead their case. John doesn’t like democracy!
Elsewhere we had the pronouncement from the Guardian Newspaper that they will no longer use X, wait for it, because they feel that the platform is full of fake news! Oh the irony! What they actually mean is like all the corporate media they hate the Internet and social media in particular because we the plebs can call them put on their lies and misinformation.
Pre Internet our politicos and corrupt media controlled the narrative 100%. Nowadays within seconds of them telling us any lie or exaggeration we the plebs can expose them and set the record straight. They hate that.They dislike intensely that we have any power whatsoever and that not all power rests with them!
Everyone should understand that the elite will do everything in their power to prevent truth coming out. They only want their version of the truth to be available to the masses as it was in the days before we had Internet and Google search! Nothing exemplifies it better than Palestine. Our politicians and corrupt media lie and deny there is a genocide happening. If there was no Internet, we would not know the truth. We would not know that the RAF in our name is assisting this genocide. We must defend our freedom of speech at all costs!
The Through A Scottish Prism panel try their best to offer you a different insight to all these events of the past week.
Another good Prisim today especially when it turned to the independence issue and the hint of great things happening on that front. To help the people in our country come to grips with what I have the impression is being alluded to, independent candidates in every constitutency in 2026, there is the new booklet How We Take Back Our Independence available for everyone now. It appears there is a gathering momentum for the idea that the way forward for our liberation will be through the Scottish people helped by the awareness being gained from this well researched 40 page booklet. Eva, as usual, is the drive and quite inspiring to listen to on the Independents for Indepedence issue and while all talked well John Wight was excellent as well on the same page. In fact the panelists of late are nothing short of on the money. My experiences talking to friends and activists here in the Lothians is that most want to find out more about the proposals and ideas for this initiative. We are all ears.

I believe Flynn and the other Westminster wonders will only gain respect from Independence supporters when they finally find the guts to permanently walk out of that London club and their party officially adopts the policy of abstentionism. As of now they’re no better than all the other British nationalists who crawl around in that cesspit.
