The Fallout Continues- Reality Sets In. TASP.

We are only 10 days into the Labour Regime in London and already the alarm bells are going off all over the British mainland.

Labour in this short time has confirmed they will not repeal the Two Child Rape Clause, the Bedroom Tax. They have however sent £3billion of tax payers money to the regime in Kiev. Starmer has also indicated that he will increase defence/offence spending to £53.5 billion per annum. Almost twice what the nation of Scotland gets in block grant per annum!

Therefore, this week my panel of Phil Boswell, Lloyd Quinan and Eva Comrie had plenty of topics to debate and dissect.

We had Emperor Starmer visiting the far reaches of the English Empire as he deigned to visit the outposts of Edinburgh and Belfast. Spinney Swinney in true British devolutionist mode ensured that when Starmer arrived at Bute House there was not a Saltire in sight. Uriah Heep Swinney grovelled and promised to co-operate with our London overlords like a truly colonised little Jock.

Starmer though in Belfast left with a flea in his ear as Mary Lou and the lovely Michelle O’Neil left Tel Aviv’s man in no doubt about the direction of travel in Ireland.

Meanwhile, in Scotland, Alex Neil one of the elder SNP statesmen has been calling for Swinney to resign. This made Ian I want to be a Lord, Blackford rush to defend ‘Honest John’ with a statement that “there is nobody else but John” If true, god help Scotland!

While wee Petey Wishart was dreaming of being SNP leader at England’s Parliament The National rag was running a story to bring in to Holyrood the Westminster losing SNP MPs. The paper seems to think these ‘big hitters’ who the Scottish voters rejected are the solution to halt the fall of the SNP.

No mention of ditching the Gender nonsense and the HCB or removing Stonewall from all parts of Scottish governance. Our idiotic media think it is all about personalities, not substance and good governance! No wonder our movement is in such disarray.

Not to be outdone in the Uriah Heep stakes, Stephen Flynn was grovelling before Mr Speaker and the entire English Parliament. He magnificently portrayed the well trained obedient little House Jock by pleading to Scots hating Mr Speaker to let bygones be bygones!

Oh what a parcel of rogues in a nation!

Labour was busy laying out its plans to steal Scottish Oil, Gas and Renewables to create a UK/English wealth fund. However, obviously our new Energy Minister, Ed Milliband didn’t get the memo. On the same day he announced no more North Sea exploration or drilling licences are to be issued! Work that one out.

Joining in the idiocy England’s weasel in Scotland Anas Sarwar was telling Scots that Labour intend to reset devolution when they take over in 2026. Make of that what you will. You have been warned.

We also ask the question is Scotland, a colony within a colony as Emperor Starmer states that the UK will not recognise Palestine as a nation state unless Washington says it is ok to do so. It seems it is not only Scotland that has another nation deciding its foreign policy.

To those who voted for English Labour believing they were voting for change the reality is already setting in! Be prepared for 5 more years of neoliberal imperial governance folks. The only thing that has changed is name of the neoliberal/neocon English Government, everything else remains the same.

If our Scottish political leaders do not wake up and start to face the reality of our situation we are heading for disaster. The very being of our nation is now in danger.

All these topics and more discussed and dissected on your favourite Scottish Political review show.

  • Well summarised on labours neoliberalism. Dictator Starmer carrying forwards his elite masters agenda.
It’s frightening what he and weasel Sarwar will unleash on Scotland unless the independence movement gets their act together.

  • Starmer is a neo liberal. His wife is a Zionist. He is a Zionist. And as this article points out billions are being gifted to Kiev whilst defence spending is set to increase by twice the block grant given to Scotland.

Swingeing Tory benefit cuts are as the article says not now going to be reversed whilst the economy continues to tank with the worst growth figures in Europe. World trade declines too whilst tourism tanks due to tourists avoiding the UK.

But we will go to war. Britain’s generals have said so. No ifs, no buts, the Ukraine Proxy has not worked and now NATO will need to go in. Indeed news just emerging is that Germany has set up a plan to close major roads to allow the deployment of 800,000 Nato troops and 200,000 military vehicles to fight Russia.

And British conscription. That will be here this year. Your eighteen year old son and daughter or grandson and grand daughter dragooned into the war machine. Britain and the US are going for it and go for it they will. And Starmer like Blair will play their part.

But this time the adversary is not Iraq with its oil but Russia with its vast resources. But Russia is not Iraq, or Afghanistan. It is a fully equipped militarily and can, and will fight.

Britain and the US are already participants in the war. They have troops on the ground arming and maintaining weaponry. They are providing military intelligence, directing and targeting weapons through their targeting satellite and ground stations. And they are losing personnel too – albeit only acknowledged as hired contractors.

So quite frankly folks, does anyone think life under Labour and Sir Keir Starmer is going to get any better. well you’d be a donkey if you thought so.

But lastly, and this will be a topic today as to how we are going. Not so many days ago the senior BBC presenter David Aaronovitch said the following –

‘If I was Biden I’d hurry up and have Trump murdered on the basis that he is a threat to America’s security
    #SCOTUS’.

Now with Trump a man who says war would be a disaster and that he will stop the war, the BBC man’s prophesy was eerily accurate given the assassination attempt last night. Unlike Dr David Kelly who tried to stop the Iraq war, Donal Trump by a hairbreadth was ever so lucky.

Yes, the bigger war is on its way, and this time ,the blitz of major cities will be a little more comprehensive than during the London, Coventry and Clydebank blitz’s .of the 40s.

And the SNP talk about keeping Trident!

  • Excellent prism again, Roddy and panel.

If the SNP tries to bring back these unseated politicians, they will be wiped out in 2026 and we shall see what we shall see. Some of those who actually kept their seats need to go, too.

I think we have almost reached tipping point, and I’m not so sure that most people don’t know what is going on, albeit they might appear not to; on the contrary, I think they know perfectly well that things are going to become really bad very soon. I also think the ordinary people know that independence is not far off and that it will get dirty. I also believe that Westminster and the British State know that it is not far off and that they will not stop it, although they will fight every inch of the way to hold us and denude us of what they can in the process.

As Phil said, Labour have picked up the poisoned chalice and drunk deeply from it. The UK is on an unstoppable downward spiral and it cannot be saved as the UK: it can be saved as the constituent parts of the UK, even England. Labour would, once, have been the party of the people. No more. As unrelentingly middle-class as all the rest. Kevin McKenna, in Debate Night, nailed it about both Labour and the SNP.

I personally believe – albeit I have been on the left my whole life – that capitalism, regulated and managed, is the way forward. Just look at China: Maoism/Communism did not lift China’s teeming millions out of dire poverty, capitalism did. However, neoliberal capitalism/corporatism is a cul-de-sac for the less well-off, but all we have seen from any of the British parties, including the SNP, is a rigid sticking to neoliberalism a la Thatcher. The EU offers no solutions either as it, too, is mired in neoliberalism.

The SNP, in common with every other party, is a middle-class preoccupation that has no long-term answers for those on the lowest rungs of the ladder. When your priority is not the feeding of your children, but whether you can release enough equity to buy them a flat in their university city, you have no comprehension of what life is like for others who have no such wealth.

Only the middle-class preoccupations of the SNP allowed Stonewall and its Scottish arms to take over the party; working-class people are not so stupid. They tend to be pragmatic and realistic and this ordure revolts their sense of small ‘c’ conservatism, as do the lies told by the party and the lack of movement towards independence. They know instinctively that independence will not be a panacea, but, rather, a painful journey that, somewhere along the road, will benefit their children and their children. Why should they vote for pain now, with no hope of an end to it for them and theirs? As a woman, I will not vote for the SNP – I spoiled/repurposed my ballot – as long as they continue to betray us on behalf of AGPs/fetishists/con men. I think they will back Labour in bring back the GRRB.

  • 30th August – 1st September = SNP Conference 2024.

    Two thoughts:

Is it too early to mention that?

Or is it already too late?

    • The problem is Mike that Sturgron,Robertson & Co bastardised thecSNP Constitution so much the rank and file are almost powerless to fo anything to remove the cabal of sell outs.

  • Excellent article Roddy, and maybe Scots need a truly rude awakening to jolt them out of their current colonial mindset.
