Nicola Sturgeon is to be excluded from UK General Election TV debates. At Westminster our MPs are shouted down and told to go home and not come back. Our vote to remain in the EU has been ignored completely. Our three election victories giving the SNP mandates to call an independence referendum are also ignored and dismissed with barely a few contemptuous words. Boris Johnson has threatened to remove SNHS from Holyrood control. Michael Gove has said that UK Central Government will ignore the Scotland Act and spend the block grant directly from Whitehall. The BBC producing polls on the popularity of Party leaders conveniently omitting Nicola Sturgeon the most popular leader on these isles and beyond.

During the Scottish Independence referendum many promises were made and all have been broken. I can’t actually think of a single one of the Unionists pledges that has been kept. One of the worst promises that was made and broken was by a Scottish born politician, a son of the manse no less, Gordon Brown, “radical” proposals that would be “as close to federalism as is possible” while also maintaining the “benefits” of union. He personally guaranteed it. We know it never happened, nor will it ever. During the intervening time every so often Brown is brought out from his crypt to promise us his latest version of this federalism pish! I expect they are warming him up already, ready for deployment. He, being the main Uncle Jock will oblige and stand in front of an invited Britnat House-Jock audience and lie yet again to the entire Scottish nation. I have often wondered what his price was to be so dishonest to his nation of birth.

Five years after the Independence referendum and all these Unionist promises exposed as nothing more than the usual Anglo-British lies. It is incredible that there is anyone left in Scotland that can possibly support and vote for these charlatans. I sometimes despair that so many gullible fools inhabit our nation.

I penned it shortly after The First Minister announced that the legislation to enact an Independence referendum. At that time Nicola invited the Unionist Parties to bring forward their alternative plans to Independence. Nearly 7 months later nothing has been proposed by either the Tories or Liberals. The Labour Party rolled out the ‘federalism’ nonsense without any detail, timescales or explanation how they would convince the English majority to agree to this fiction. The House-Jock Parties have not suggested a single Scotland only policy since 2014. The SNP won power in 2007 I cannot recall a single suggestion between them to improve the lives of the nation.

Therein lies the difference in the parties in Scotland. Every day the SNP is introducing policies to improve the lives of all our people. Baby boxes to free personal care for the elderly and free medicine for the sick. Our House-Jocks have opposed every single one of these progressive policies. The only policy they want to see enacted is something that would prevent the Scottish nation ever asking itself if it wished to return to be an independent nation. The Unionist Parties only function is to protect the interest of London and English voters, not to protect the interests of Scottish voters.

This looming election is the most important UK General Election ever as far as Scotland is concerned. We need to elect the maximum SNP MPs we possibly can. Every constituency that returns a House-Jock is a danger to Scotland. It is looking likely the Tories will win comfortably in England. That is enough to guarantee they form a government. When they do, they will push on with Brexit unopposed. Next in line will be their plans to neuter the devolved Parliaments which they have opposed and loathed since their inception. There is every chance they will enact some legislation to forbid any of the Celtic nations ever leaving the union. They will in fact legalise our status as English colonies. We have all got to do the maximum to prevent this happening.

The only defence we have is to return SNP MPs in huge numbers to signal to London and the world that Scotland wants no part of the right-wing English madness. We as individuals all have to do our bit. Delivering leaflets, standing at street stalls, talking to our family, friends, work colleagues. The entire UK Media is corrupt and will not do it for us. We have no 4th estate. We have a 5th column. Our destiny is in our own hands we all have to do everything we can to assist the Party, then in the early hours of December 13th we can watch as Scotland tells the Tories and all the other imperialists that we are not allowing them to dictate to us anymore.

We have been in this union for 312 years. We have given our neighbours ample time to show us that it benefits all parties, they have failed to do that or ever act in good faith. They have only ever been takers. They have taken our governance, our resources, our dignity, our sons and daughters. They have never treated us as equals. This latest election they are excluding our voice, we are not to be heard, we are to be ignored, treated as if we are inferior to their nation and people. Are we prepared to allow ourselves to be treated as second class citizens or do we now wish to be citizens of the world not possessions of an English elite?

I believe that the time has arrived for the Scottish nation to stand proud. We need to remain united and not allow anything to distract or divide us between now and polling day. Everything else is minor in comparison to winning this election. Our children, grandchildren and generations to come will never forgive us if we fail them or Scotland now!
