As announced on Through A Scottish Prism we are showcasing the film Adult Human Female. This is the film that Tra zealots managed to have banned from showing at Edinburgh University. While this blogsite is predominately a Scottish independence site, we also support other causes. Freedom of speech, freedom to practise your religion of choice, The right to live in a lifestyle or sexual preference of your choosing, The politics of the left also feature in our topics.I also take an anti-war approach.
What is becoming more obvious every day is that here in the West our basic freedoms are under threat. We are captured by neoliberal elites and our very freedoms of speech, thought and expression are being eroded daily. I, myself have found my social media deboosted since expressing my opposition to the war in Ukraine and by not joining in with the warmongers and supporters of the NATO proxy war. I will never stop expressing my defiance of war as a means of forcing your politics and beliefs on others. War to me is a failure of politics!
Similarly, I defend the right of people to hold views that while they may be repugnant to my beliefs, it is their right to hold such beliefs. The only caveats are that in so doing their rights should not infringe on other people’s rights.
That is exactly the case with those that are supporting GRR and Self-Identification. These new ‘rights’ demanded by them are a direct infringement on the rights of women. By women let me be clear, I mean Adult Human Females, that is my definition, that is the undeniable scientific, biological definition!
Our First Minister has said that women’s concerns on her GRR Bill are ‘not valid.’ As a democrat and a member of the human race, I find that statement offensive. Those concerns are very valid and throughout this entire debate the people expressing those concerns have been marginalised, bullied, denied and ignored. This film is a point in case. That is why this blogsite is proud today to promote and show this film. You may not agree with its contents that is your right. However, you have no right to prevent others from seeing this film or of holding opposing views to yours. We either live in a democracy, or we do not. I say long live democracy. Please watch and enjoy this film. If you agree with the sentiments in it please share far and wide. If you do not have then at least have respect for the people that do.

Watched this film yesterday but I’ll watch again tonight. Thank you, Roddy, for helping to spread the word. I don’t want to live in an independent Scotland where Sturgeon’s friends have the freedom (by Law) to do as they please.
As far as women and girls are concerned, Sturgeon & Co are dangerous.

Thanks Roddy. I’ve shared and I’m hoping that some of those I tried to warn about this two or three years ago – and who mor or less laughed at me, will now open their eyes to what is happening. What I found particualrly heartening was seeing so many women of the “left” telling it like it is. I agree that the “faux left” who are promoting this rubbish are middle class neo Liberals who don’t have a Socialist bone in their body.
Very interesting statistics being reported over on Wings Over Scotland with a recent survey, with don’t knows excluded, showing that 68% of people think that Sturgeon’s GRC legislation will present risk to women.
Indeed, looking at voter opposition across the political spectrum Tories ( 89%) Labour (65%) Lib Dem ( 85%) and SNP (56%) are the results. Quite quite incredible polling. Political parties usually pursue policies popular with the electorate. But not here where the SNP are going in an opposite direction.
It is like a death wish. What is Sturgeon about. Most certainly chimes with the SNP’s anti independence sentiment.

I struggle with the seismic alteration of the party of Alex Salmond. It is fully destroyed and with it the glow of independence is much diminished.
A plebiscite election means we are all supposed to vote for a mob who do nothing for the cause of independence and have spent time and money perverting biology .
The reins of independence must be wrestled form their hands and the YES movement reconvened across its broad spectrum of the political and non political.
