Today I am joined by Yvonne Ridley to discuss the weeks events as they affect Scotland. Phil Boswell was unable to join us due to a work emergency.
We discuss the up and coming big announcement by Nicola Sturgeon. On Tuesday she has promised to tell Scotland exactly how and when we will hold the referendum in 2023.

We also discuss Nicola’s trip to Bellagio, Italy, to the Global Women Leader’s Summit, hosted by The Rockefeller Foundation and the Georgetown Institute for Women and Peace. The two-day summit dedicated to driving gender equality, protecting women’s rights, and tackling climate change.
We also discuss the FM’s reaction and words to the Roe v Wade decision in US. She tells us she is concerned and worried about the erosion of women’s rights, really?
This week it was discovered that the Scottish Government has spent nearly £19,000,000 plus the £3 million ‘grant’ to the anti-Scottish MSM . We also comment on the lack of recognition let alone support the SNP offer the independence new media.
We cannot of course ignores the big story of the week from the UK, the RMT strike and the rise and rise of Mick Lynch.
The ending of the ECHR and the drafting of a new British Bill of Rights, a threat to Scotland and its democracy?
Jobs for the girls it was revealed that while still Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson tried to appoint his then mistress Carrie to a £100k pa. post. The corruption is not even hidden these days.
Thing about the unity of the YES movement, and Sturgeon continuing to smear Alex Salmond, we need to remember that Sturgeon and her pals are deeply implicated in the conspiracy to smear Alex Salmond in the first place.
Whatever motivated that smear attack on Salmond, (and it certainly wasn’t his conduct), we must surely assume the motivation still remains, and it’s extremely hard to avoid coming to the conclusion that Alex Salmond is merely a pawn in a vicious and orchestrated conspiracy to wreck the YES Movement and undermine Independence. “That” game is still running unfettered.
Even the most ardent sycophant who won’t hear a bad word against Sturgeon MUST recognise how contrived and artificial this whole conspiracy has been, and that it absolutely reeks of malicious interference and skullduggery. If you don’t see it, then frankly you’re just not looking hard enough.
Sturgeon and her SNP are deeply, deeply compromised with a great many questions to answer, yet not one of her clique is prepared to acknowledge there is even a problem, nevermind recuse themselves from positions of authority in the Independence movement while their credentials, actions, and integrity are reassessed.
Compare and contrast that to Alex Salmond, who stood back from public office in order to clear his name.
What absolute joy I would feel if Sturgeon’s big reveal on Tuesday was her stepping down as FM, to spend more time with her ego. Sadly, I know I’m in for more disappointment from the SNP.
£19 million to gaurentee a NO VOTE says it all really.
I see you’re wearing your Kellie-Jay T-shirt, Yvonne. You’re right: what we are facing now is a war on women; and it’s coming from all sides. Something has shifted and disturbed the atmosphere of the planet in some way, and momentous change is on the way. At first, a few years back, I thought that we were going to be pushed back into our box by malignant men, but, now, I really do believe that the exact opposite will happen, and we will emerge from this bruising phase into a far more female-centric world. Likewise Scotland. We are going somewhere whether Nicola Sturgeon likes it or not, and even her utter hypocrisy over female rights won’t save her if she thinks she can pull off yet another hill-climbing exercise in duplicity. On both independence and female rights, she has been a disaster. The media won’t save her when the streets echo to the cries of ‘traitor twice over’.
I’m old enough to remember the miners’ strike and the lies spun and told by both the media and the establishment. It all came out in the wash, too late, of course, and Arthur Scargill has been vindicated – at least, to anyone with a sense of fair play. He always said they wouldn’t stop until they closed all the pits, and he was always of the opinion that the NUM had at least one plant within it at the highest level, probably more. The campaign against him destroyed his life and credibility at the time, but, bit by bit, it is all coming out, and the malignancy of the Tories and uselessness of Labour have both been highlighted. It was heartening to see him on the RMT picket-line, as it was to see several Labour politicians defy their leader, Starmer, and offer support.

Yeah, tomorrow’s big announcement by Nico Sturgeon ~ is it going to be another type of ‘acquiescing-2-their-Brexit’ speech and non-announcement, with shades of shite and dark undertones of green ~ to see if an ACTUAL DATE for this so-called indyref2 is presented, because in doing so, part of that necessary and expected ‘Plan of Action’ requires an ACTUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY to also be exacted. Should this latter action not be named… then it will be known that ‘er game is a bogey.
