Roddy with all deference and respect to you for your podcasts I am extremely alarmed and concerned that the 2 SNP officials are sticking RIGIDLY with the NS gradualist approach , for Colm to say that we are in the semi finals in his football analogy is infuriating , we should have won the final and been on the way home
His subtlety when approached about the list vote shouldn’t fool anyone , all SNP officials are totally against the list vote going to anyone else irrespective of the possible benefits to the independence movement
I thought I heard you ask if there was a 50%+1 return of votes from the electorate for a party or parties with a mandate in their manifesto that if elected they would declare independence
Did that somehow MORPH into if there was 50%+1 return of votes from the electorate for a party or parties with a mandate in their manifesto that if elected they would hold an indyref when they could as soon as possible , but when Colm responded he said that we ALREADY have a MANDATE for a indyref but WM are refusing it
So basically what I took from the podcast was vote SNP 1+2 because we the SNP DESERVE IT and we are FRIGHTENED that we will lose our cushy numbers and the NON indy supporters
And we already have a mandate that we will not use , but elect us AGAIN and give us ANOTHER mandate to put in our mandate cupboard just to be on the SAFE side because you never know the circus clown might , may , possibly , maybe change his mind
TBH Roddy I WILL vote for another indy party on the list vote probably the ISP if they oppose the GRA and HCB but I WISH there was another REAL indy party for the constituency vote because the SNP don’t deserve INDEPENDENCE votes , I am SICK of their capitulation and subservience
