This past week the Anglo scaremongering has been raised a notch or six. There must be an election looming. John Healey, the UK Minister of Defence, started the ball rolling with his “an SNP election victory would be bad for national security” The reality is, of course, that any Unionist, jingoistic, London- based government is the danger to national security. This Little Englander Healey is the guy that says the British Army of 70,000 is ready to fight the 2,000,000 +battle-hardened Russian Army. He also states we are ready to fight an even larger Chinese army. He has, it seems, never heard the phrase “don’t poke the bear!”
He supports WMD on the Clyde, not in England of course! They are the biggest threat to national security and make Scotland the prime target in any English war. The man is a clown! The British Army nowadays couldn’t defeat the Salvation Army never mind the Russian or Chinese armies!
As if one English clown wasn’t bad enough, David Lammy, of ‘men can grow a cervix’ claim, chirped in with a similar load of nonsense about Scottish independence being a threat to national (England’s) security.
The reality is Scotland’s independence is a threat to England’s security– its financial security! We are the cash cow of £200 billion a year to the English Treasury. They keep around £170 billion, give us £30 billion, and then tell us to be grateful as we are subsidised by England. Classical colonialism! That is England’s danger!
Our Anglo colonisers were up to their old tricks with our Irish cousins this week too. Hilary Benn, the man that disproves the saying “The apple never falls far from the tree,” was spewing more classical Anglo arrogance and colonial mentality in Ireland. The man with the famous father said”nobody is arguing there is an appetite for constitutional change“(in Ireland) A similar phraseology we hear often in Scotland and Wales. How often have we been told “now is not the time?” Of course, for any of the Celtic nations to secede from England, the Anglos will always say there is no appetite for change. What they do not do is clarify that with, IN ENGLAND!
The coloniser never wants to cede its captive nations. Their tactic is always to keep the colonies poor and steal their wealth and resources for Mother England! It has been the modus operandi of England since 1066.
That though is coming to an end. England itself is in political and financial turmoil. The two ugly sisters of British politics, the Labour and Tory Parties are in terminal decline. They are about to join the Whigs as nothing more than footnotes in the history books. They are being replaced by the very English Nationalist and extremists of Reform and the tree -hugging lentil-munching English Greens. Throw in the woke left Your Party and stir gently for absolute Anglo political and social chaos!
The latest polling shows Reform with a huge lead in England over the Greens, with the ugly sisters Labour & Tories languishing at around 16% in voting intentions. The political civil war is going to be a joy to behold as the Anglos tear each other apart to get the big boy’s seat at Westminster.
This is, of course, an ideal opportunity for the Celtic nations to make their move. Our dear Irish cousins coined a phrase back in the day, “England’s difficulty is Ireland’s opportunity.” It applies equally to Scotland and Wales! As the English nationalists fight amongst themselves, the English royal family falls into disrepute and the English fixate on dinghies in Le Manche we Celts need to take advantage of this perfect set of circumstances presented to us.
So, what is happening in Scotland as this perfect political storm brews in England? Sadly, I have to report not a lot. The SNP in their wisdom have decided to concentrate their efforts in being upset about being called a’ national UK security risk’ and going to court to defend the indefensible of men can be women nonsense!
As the road to independence opens up, the SNP want to go to court to appeal the decision of the English Supreme Court and the Equality Act of 2010! Talk about fiddling while Rome or in this case London burns! John Swinney this week made a complete fool of himself when asked why the Scottish Government were appealing the FWS/SC decision. ‘I will make no comment on a live legal case, and I won’t be commenting on it’ John trying to sound so clever to avoid answering the question. Here’s the kicker John, it is a Civil Case, not a criminal case and you can indeed comment upon it, anyone can comment upon it. Our resident Prism lawyer, Eva Comrie makes that very clear in today’s podcast.
Kenny Macaskill leader of the Alba Party made a very forceful and factual speech this week. Indeed, we on TASP agreed on its content. He confirmed the thoughts of most Scots. The SNP plan to win in election and then ask Westminster for a Section 30 Independence Referendum, is doomed to failure! Nobody with the exception perhaps of the SNP leadership thinks this is either a credible or vote winning plan.
Perhaps in public, however, I imagine in private the SNP leadership know too that never again will our English colonisers agree to an Independence referendum. The Supreme Court have already passed judgement on that one too. Yet Alba are going to go into the Holyrood Election urging voters to vote SNP 1 Alba 2.
The Alba members received a notification this week from Kenny and I quote “we must now focus on the vital role we have in delivering independence for Scotland by following the strategy bequeathed to us by our former leader, Alex Salmond.”
That strategy bequeathed by the great man himself in 2021 was SNP1 Alba 2. In 2021 Alex was, as usual, right then. If Sturgeon had listened to him a super majority would have ensued and we could very well today, be an independent nation.
However, this is 2025 and things have changed dramatically. We ask how can Kenny on one hand dismiss as futile and stupid the “one more mandate” Holyrood tactic of the SNP and in the next breath ask the Scottish public to vote SNP1? It is just an illogical position to take! Especially to the 52% of Scottish electorate who are female and are watching the SNP still trying to push their raison d’etre of Gender politics.
Last week the SNP were telling us how their idea of uniting the movement was to form an exclusive alliance with Believe in Scotland while at the same time excluding the rest of the independence movement and especially all the other independence supporting parties including Alba!
This week BIS published a document outlining their plans for an independence campaign with the SNP in 2031! Jam tomorrow! No independence in 2026. The SNP too announced they will form an alliance post election with Plaid Cymru. They wont however, contemplate an alliance with any other Scottish independence supporting Parties! Go figure!
So why would any person or party support the SNP in 2026 when there is no plan for independence attached to that vote? Maybe Kenny can enlighten us on that one.Party before cause again it seems to us!
We also this week had the unionist press maligning the great man and his widow over his financial situation. The British press ran a series of articles stating that Moira Salmond may have to sell the family home to help pay the legal bills amassed by Alex in defending his innocence from the scurrilous lies laid against him and disproved in the highest court in the land.Shame on them all, the liars and the British media that even in death cannot leave the great man or his grieving widow alone.It shows that even in death the Brits and their little Scottish helpers fear the great man still!

About the point of Lammy claiming the SNP is a threat to national security, I am with Eva, 100%. I also think it is propaganda.
I do agree with Phil, Allan and Lloyd that the SNP is not currently a threat to the “united” kingdom. It has become a threat to Scotland and Scotland’s national security.
I also agree that the departure of Scotland from this “union” is an existential threat to the UK itself. It cannot be otherwise, because if Scotland breaks the so called “united kingdom”, there is no “united kingdom” left anymore. That stands to the obvious.
In this respect, any political party that seeks Scotland’s independence is expected to be by definition an existential threat to the UK. Because if they are not, or claim they are not, then they cannot be serious about independence. You cannot ride simultaneously two horses that are running in opposite directions.
However, in this particular instance, I am convinced that the reason why Lammy (or his masters) chose to say that “the SNP is a threat to national security” was with the purpose of validating the SNP as a pro independence party.
After the recent conference where the useless Swinney capitulated to the colonial power by embracing, once more, the road to nowhere that is the S30, he made clear beyond any reasonable doubt for anybody with at least 2 brain cells that the SNP is no longer a party of independence, never mind “the” vehicle that will ever deliver it.
There was quite a significant backlash from yes voters and the SNP were fiercely criticised. And deservedly so. The SNP credentials as a pro independence party among a substantial number of pro independence supporters are forever gone.
In my view, what we are seeing here in Lammy’s silly words is the attempt by an external component (a colonial party, nothing less) to inject back into the carcass of the SNP some credibility as a pro-independence party. At all practical effects, they are trying to inject some political life into it.
As Eva said, some voters may listen to this and think: “if the main political enemy of independence says the SNP is a threat to the UK, then it must be because it is true”. I am convinced that this is also the train of thought for the shill, his masters and the mouthpieces that have amplified this propaganda since then.
I am sure we will see more colonial and crown shills coming out from their caves between now and the 2026 election with similar claims. I would not be surprised if the claims become more and more outrageous each time.
I wonder how long it will take for establishment tools like Blair, Brown and others to also come up with propaganda to suggest the pro-independence life within the carcass of the SNP has not been completely extinguished.
This attempt at injecting life into the SNP by a colonial party tells me a few things:
1. The SNP is now an integral part of the establishment
When colonial parties and establishment shills are the ones coming to the rescue of the SNP, it can only be because the SNP is on their side. And not just that. It can only be because they see the SNP as useful for their cause or, heaven forbid, necessary.
2. The SNP will not progress or do anything to facilitate independence
It is obvious that if the establishment is now pumping propaganda to resurrect the pro-indy credentials of the SNP, it can only be because they see it as the safest option in Scotland to preserve the “union”
3. The SNP is no longer the enemy of the establishment, we are.
We might not notice it so much because of the boiling frog effect we have been subjected to for over a decade. However, if we look back to what was broadcast and published before the campaign for the 2014 referendum started, it is obvious to even a child that we have been drawn in propaganda ever since the campaign for the referendum started. It is very interesting that the high levels of pernicious propaganda never stopped never decreased since 2014.
Propaganda and psychological/emotional blackmailing are tools of cold war. You could say they are a type of weapon. They do not kill you or wound you physically, but they do damage you psychologically. They are tools designed to instill fear where there was none, to demoralise you, to destroy self-confidence, to question all your core beliefs, and ultimately to make you change your opinion or actions for the benefit of somebody/something else that is not necessarily acting in your best interests.
That propaganda is being directed to us, the Scottish people, and on industrial scale at that. This can only mean that it is we, the voters, and not the SNP, who has been identified by the establishment as its enemy since 2014.
I do not know what others here think, but to me, the level of aggressive propaganda Scotland has been subjected to for the last 13 years is not normal for times of peace.
It does not make any financial or common sense to waste resources and credibility by deploying this continuous high level of propaganda 24/7 if the result in 2014 was really such a clear won for No, by 10 margin points (55 to 45), as they are expecting us to believe it was.
Yes, I am a cynic. But this cynic thinks that the reason why this constant propaganda is being deployed since 2014, the reason why the SNP has been hijacked and the reason why the betrayer Sturgeon claimed a vote for the SNP was not a vote for independence in 2015, can only be because “no” did not win in 2014.
The real support for independence in Scotland has been kept continuously suppressed since then by injecting industrial scale levels of propaganda that are obfuscating reality and distracting us from what is really going on and by artificially creating division, for example with the idiocy of the gender nonsense.
4. The establishment fears what the real result from the 2026 election might be
We are already at the ludicrous point where the colonial establishment and its “allies”, which are the real enemies of independence, is now the only one keeping the SNP brand alive by desperately injecting fake credibility back into it through its colonial political arms.
This can only be because keeping the SNP in power is far better for the establishment than the alternative.
5. When the “enemy” or the “opposition” are the only ones keeping the credibility of the SNP as a pro-indy alive, it is obvious that nothing that we see in politics is real or trustworthy. It is all fake. An illusion of diversity of choice that does not exist anymore. If it ever existed, that is.

Apathy, distrust and disengagement from politics. Doesn’t this sound familiar? Could the ridiculously low turnouts to elections in Scotland be a consequence of this propaganda fatigue?
That they are ramping up the propaganda to make now such ridiculous claims involving “national security” makes me think we are at a very serious risk now that the establishment might try to rig the result if it does not go its way.
A few years ago I realised the amount of pro-colonial vote was no longer enough to keep three colonial parties going in Scotland. At that time, it was obvious to me that, in the long term, the only option the colonial vote had to get representation in Holyrood without actively cheating was by merging into a single movement or “party”. To pool the no vote, basically.
In my personal opinion, this is the real role Reform is playing in Scotland. Reform may be seen as a threat to the powers that be in England, but it is “the” opportunity the establishment has in Scotland to concentrate the no vote into one single block.
I would not be surprised if the establishment (with the help of its “allies”) is the one that is deliberately crushing labour and the tories in Scotland to facilitate that merging of the vote. As a matter of fact, where is Reform getting its validation from in Scotland? That will be propaganda.
We are hearing about Reform 24/7 in the news, blogs, etc. It is even getting validation from its alleged political opponents. Remember Swinney’s stupid convention to stop Reform? At that point there wasn’t even an MSP from Reform.
I see a similarity between the propaganda strategy to prop up Reform and the one used to resurrect the pro-indy credentials of the SNP. This validation does not come from the voters. It does not come from the actions of the SNP itself either. It comes from the so called parties of the “opposition”.
It is obvious to me that the establishment has already decided that the only two significant forces that can be present in Holyrood after 2026 are the SNP vs Reform. Reform are extreme colonialists. They seek to get rid of Holyrood. Why would the establishment want Reform in Holyrood?
1. There is no longer enough soft no vote to keep peddling the idea that yes voters are a minority. The only chance that no vote has to control holyrood is if it is concentrated into one party. England and Scotland are very different politically. It is impossible to govern both simultaneously with a single party in a way that both countries see benefit. So what always happens is that tories and labour will sacrifice Scotland for the sake of England. From Scotland point of view, Labour and Tories are spent parties. They are seem as England’s parties governing for the benefit of England. There is no longer a chance in hell any of those is going to unite the no vote. Reform does not have baggage because it was never in government.
2. With regards to the union (and foreign policy), the SNP are so, so close ideologically to Labour, libdems and tories that, from the perspective of yes voters, they are pretty much indistinguishable.
So how can the establishment keep selling the idea that the SNP is still a pro-independence brand?
Only by bringing to the stage something that is radically and unashamedly, in your face, colonial: enter Reform UK.
It is in your face colonial even in the name. Reform does not hide behind the false namesof “Scottish Reform” like the other colonial parties were forced to do to survive politically in Scotland. The message is clear: you vote for Reform, you vote for the UK. The “UK” in the name of the party is like a beacon to attract the unionist vote.
We all know that labour and tories have been controlled by the genocidal rogue state in the ME through the so called “Friends of Israel” lobby. The level of control of this lobby is ridiculous. According to Declassified UK, “Some 180 of Britain’s 650 MPs in the last parliament accepted funding from pro-Israel lobby groups or individuals during their political career. An article published by Al Mayadeen seems to suggest Reform UK has already been infiltrated to the hilt by zionists and that Yaxley Lennon is a zionist asset.
