People far more eloquent than me have analysed the recent SNP – Green deal or maybe that should be the Green-SNP deal. I have no idea what Sturgeon thought she would achieve with this unholy agreement. I would urge all Green members and supporters to congratulate your Co-Leaders on a huge political win. They have danced rings round a very naive and inept politician, Sturgeon. Normally in arrangements like this the smaller party takes all the hits when things go wrong and the larger ‘governing party’ takes all the credit for the good news.
The way Harvie and Slater have engineered this the opposite is true. The Greens will be able to claim all the credit and none of the blame when things ultimately go wrong. In the agreement bizarrely, there is no collective Cabinet responsibility. This means the Greens can break ranks at anytime with no repercussions nor with any chance of losing their jobs. They can also enter into other agreements with the Unionist Parties at anytime on any subject with no penalty!
Has Sturgeon already forgotten OBFA? The Greens under Harvie showed themselves up for what they truly are, untrustworthy political opportunists. James Kelly, MSP, and the Greens both assured the public they would introduce alternative legislation to combat the sectarianism rife in parts of Scottish football. Needless to say neither did and it proved that for both the Unionists and the Green Party it was only about blooding the SNP nose and a bit of political chain tugging.
The actions of the Greens at that time should have warned the SNP never again to trust these charlatans. Prior to the May Elections this blog pointed out that in the previous 5 year Parliament the so called pro independence Greens had not once mentioned or promoted the cause of independence. We cautioned against falling for the election bribe of the Greens in this most recent poll.Sadly, our words of caution did not convince enough people and now we have the Green tail wagging the SNP Gender Dog.
It has also highlighted the fact we could never trust these idiots in the SNP to negotiate our secession from the British Union. God knows what they would give away. Oil? Sure, keep it, Patrick doesn’t like it anyway. Trident, 50 years on the Clyde before removal, Sure! Crown Estates, you want to keep them for the Windsor’s and their heirs? Yeah absolutely have them! Approve our budget every year in case it disadvantages, England and is advantageous for Scotland? Sure! Just as long as all gender matters, age of consent and what we can teach our kids remains with us in the SNP-Green Alliance! That sounds like an SNP secession negotiation to me!
Sadly too many did not listen. Now more than 100 days post election the Greens like the SNP have done nothing to further the cause of independence since being elected.
In this tawdry agreement there is a commitment to implement the discredited GRA Reform Bill. It is the only Bill mentioned in the agreement that is given an exact timescale. It shows the priorities of both parties, Gender Reform and Stonewall Queer Theory takes precedence over Scottish independence, poverty, jobs, homelessness, pensions, welfare.
As the effects of Brexit begin to kick in and supermarkets and businesses suffer from supply chain issues our Scottish Government’s top priority is the desires of 0.04% of the population that want to change their sex and the wishes of a much discredited lobbying entity called Stonewall.
As the Tories circle ready to deploy their Internal Market Bill to Scotland’s detriment the SNP are making deals with the Greens to promote this legislation. They are once more gerrymandering the Party’s governance to ensure fewer ordinary members have a say on party governance or policy. The appointees will now have virtually no opposition inside the party structures. An NEC that has not discussed Independence in five years now has even less need or desire to discuss Scotland’s plight.
This clique, that surrounds the party leader, has made their feelings well known. Gender Politics is more important than self-determination. Those left inside the SNP have no excuse now to say well it is better to stay and change the party from within. These gender fanatics have tightened their grip on the party. You will not be able to change anything.
I would implore those decent members and elected officers of the party that the time has come for you to make a choice. Scotland or the gravy train. When they start deselecting you, as they surely will, it will be too late. When several years from now there is still no movement on the independence cause, it will be too late. When the Tories start dismantling our Devolution and privatising Scottish Water and the NHS it will be too late.
The Scottish nation cannot sit around waiting on a party committed to Gender ideology and making Westminster Devolution work to finally, if ever find it’s soul and move on the Constitution.
Yesterday the SNP leadership was more concerned with British Foreign Policy on Afghanistan rather than food shortages in Scottish supermarkets or Scottish children living in abject poverty. This is the same British Foreign Policy that is readying the Black Watch Regiment to go into harms way because of their incompetence in Afghanistan. The same Black Watch that was the spearhead in both Gulf Wars. The only time Westminster puts Scots first is when there is a need for some fighting and death That should be Sturgeon’s biggest concern, not anything else. She should be asking why is it always Scots that need to go first to defend England’s imperial ambitions but are always last when it comes to everything else?
This shoddy deal with the Greens should be the final straw for anyone that puts Scotland’s Independence first. There can no longer be any doubt Sturgeon’s SNP puts her own narrow agenda ahead of Scotland’s needs.
There is now only Alba, ISP, AFI, Scotia-Future putting forward plans for Scotland’s liberation.The SNP have left the building!
We all now need to agitate and campaign for Scotland. Sturgeon and her SNP have other priorities, so we need to begin without them. Let them keep playing the British and Stonewall game we have a nation to free from Imperialism.

We have managed to frustrate these efforts to close us down through our readers sharing our articles and building our audience. In addition many have taken out free direct subscriptions. I very much appreciate this support.
I find myself getting angrier and more scared by the day – scared of what this shower think should be taught in schools , angry at what this shower think we should all accept uncritically and scared that I won’t see my country grow and become independent . Instead it will be a stunted , backward , ignorant and poverty stricken place unfit for the grandchildren of Scotland.

In some areas think she is cunning and, to some extent forensic, in her planning of the coup she has now brought about in the SNP Government. She ignores all warnings and backlashes and pushes forward until she gets what she wants. She will leave in a couple of years to go to a new post for which she must have equality credentials, hence the need to have GRA reform enacted in Scotland. It matters little to her that the HCB and GRA/gender self-ID reform will have disasterous consequences on the lives of women, girls and children. I do not want the SNP or NS to be involved in any talks about Independence or anything to do with Independence. They have shown they are bad for Scotland and must be removed from office before Independence can be progressed.

I can’t understand how Sturgeon managed to fool so many for so long. Did any political member suspect her? Did anyone question her motives? She must be a pretty good actress – boring, which is all I had against her – but top marks for fooling the electorate. Alex Salmond, however, has proved himself to be an extremely strong individual. It must have been a horrific experience for him to be treated with such contempt by someone he trusted and thought he knew thoroughly. Perhaps it’s as well he has been tested to such a degree because we certainly know for sure he has the strength of character and physical endurance needed to lead ALBA and friends back to Scotland’s independence.

One of the reasons I wanted independence was so that we would have a govt close to home that we could hold to account, If we can’t do it now – what would be the point of independence where, it looks like we would be no more capable of holding a Scottish Govt to account?
