Nicola Sturgeon built her career on a lie, election after election, she stood before the people of Scotland and promised independence, she asked us to trust her, to rally behind her, to give her mandate after mandate and we did, not because of her personality, not because of her policies, but because she claimed she would deliver what we have fought for generations to achieve.
But the truth is as soon as she had our votes safely in her pocket, independence was quietly shelved, it became a footnote trotted out only when she needed to shore up support, then buried again in favour of her pet projects. Instead of delivering freedom, she spent her years in power pushing the dangerous and divisive gender ideology agenda and the authoritarian Hate Crime Bill, policies that trampled women’s rights, muzzled free speech and split the Yes movement wide open.
Our votes for independence were weaponised not to free our country but to feed Sturgeon’s personal vanity, her obsessions and her political games.
And now, as more of the truth begins to surface, Sturgeon has found a new way to cash in, selling her so called autobiography. Let’s be blunt, this isn’t a history book, it’s a work of fiction, within its pages, she spins tales about the Alex Salmond scandal, tales that if she believed them to be true, she could and should have said under oath when she was questioned in Parliament and before the inquiry but she didn’t. Instead, she repeatedly claimed she “could not recall” or had “no recollection” of key events, yet now, conveniently, she remembers them in detail, enough to sell them to the public for personal profit.
That raises two serious, unavoidable questions,
• If these events really happened as she now claims, why did she not tell the truth under oath?
• If she genuinely couldn’t recall them at the time, yet suddenly remembers them when there’s money to be made, did she commit perjury by lying under oath?
Nicola Sturgeon owes Scotland answers not fairy tales for a quick payday, she has traded on our hopes, sold our dream of independence for her own political comfort and now appears to be rewriting history to suit herself.
The tragedy is not just that she lied to us it’s that she took a cause built on truth, democracy, and freedom and turned it into her personal brand, leaving the independence movement weakened, divided, and leaderless.
Sturgeon’s legacy is not independence.
It’s betrayal and no amount of glossy book tours can hide that.

time to send her, her cronies and the current SNP to the dustbin of history, to allow the sovereign Scottish people to revive the cause and our just drive to be an Independent, Sovereign Country; to be once more prominent and respected in the family of real nations and not part of a mickey-mouse state which has bullied parts of the world for many years.
Totally agree with what you have written Allan. NS never had any intentions of fighting for our Independence. I wonder if she will rue the day she ever published her memoirs. Betrayal is the word to use.
Excellent piece. Cannot understand the media fawning over her , and certainly won’t be watching any of her history revision.
But us Yoons saw through her years ago…her image on the side of the helicopter, the Nuremberg Rallies that masqueraded as party conferences, the endless promotion of Brand Sturgeon.

I can only echo these comments. Had to change channels when watching the STV evening “news” as I couldn’t bear to see that face, nor hear her voice one more time. Jail time, if there was any justice left in Scotland. Some hope, eh.
Despite people who actually know calling out her lies there still appear to be some faithful who are “looking forward to reading her book” and those who believe every bit of crap that comes out of her mouth. Are they just too embarrassed to admit they were wrong or do they really believe the lying witch, regardless of what those in the know say? Cognitive dissonance is strong in these people.
Now that Sturgeon’s Book Of Fables is out & en route to charity shop shelves throughout the land , I hope we can consign her to the cluttered * closet * of History and never mention her again : she has taken and wasted far too much of our time already . Let has-beens be bye bye , gones .

The extent to which the media has piled in with huge coverage of Sturgeon’s book reflects in absolutely clear light the institutional bias of the establishment and how it is used as a weapon of what is a colonial war.
The Sun, the Scottish Sun no less was yesterday on its second day of five full pages. Page 1, 2 and 3, and 4 and 5.
And as for tone, yesterday’s front page emblazoned a picture of Alex Salmond holding the publication about Scotland’s future but with the huge headline –
” Salmond didn’t even read indy blueprint ”
Now one thing for sure is tgat Alex Salmond was an utterly skilled statesman absolutely erudite and capable. In debate, he was feared by most in the House of Commons and beyond.
That puerile feed the donkey mass a one line front page headline, together with the four pages of dross within, tells you all about how the media is controlled and plays it part in influencing public opinion. The three line whip and more is plain for all to see.
The MSM is an absolute toilet of propaganda and the last two days, with the Sun in particular, shows that.
Alex Salmond, was a son of Scotland, and the best First Minister Scotland ever had. His policies from no fees for higher education, to free prescriptions, to the removal of parking charges at hospitals, to his many other p9lici3s for economic development and social fairness were game changing. His leadership exploded a belief in Scotland where support, not just for the SNP, but others too absolutely blossomed.
The success of the huge vote for independence that some say was actually past the line was testimony to that. And that of course is why, having run the extablishment so close, he could not be allowed to return. Nor the SNP continue as an independence party.
And now after his death, and with an attempted Brig Gen Sir Frank Kitson style establishment sex abuse criminal stitch up, the media continues to destroy his memory.
So there you have it, Alex Salmond didn’t even read the blueprint for independence.
And we think Soviet Russia has a propaganda controlled press!
She never attended a single indi march. Let that sink in. The leader of the independence party , didn’t want associated with independence!

Just, for the sake of argument, consider that Sturgeon is a British agent and that John Swinney is an Asset. There could be others but these 2 seem to have a bad smell around them that is off-putting enough to prevent further investigation (at this moment). Between them, the damage inflicted on the Independence movement has been immense, despite them doing so little to further the cause. It’s not so much the rotting SNP carcass, as the dung heap left for all to tred through and seeds of despair to germinate within, that stinks to high heaven. That’s a glimpse of the inside of my head for what it is worth!
You’re not alone in thinking that , Catherine . I believe it’s an entirely plausible proposition that would certainly explain the sheer malice and what can only be intentional own goals & missed opportunities by * her * and the equally manifest determination of Swinney to thwart anything that could possibly progress our Cause and maintain the stasis that has permeated the snP and by proxy the Independence Movement since Alex Salmond stepped down . I mean , it’s possible for anyone to get a few things wrong , but the sheer scale of the wrong-getting by that lot beggars belief that it was/is simply incompetence .
My sense is that somewhere along the line Sturgeon was ” turned ” , eg the ” Get Salmond ” conspiracy alone would have easily provided the Brit Security Services with sufficient ” dope ” on her to threaten her entire political future , not to mention possible criminal charges .The latter will know every single detail of that despicable plot : of that we can be 100% sure
As she has amply demonstrated for some time , most recently with her perverted hatchet job on Alex via her autofantasy of a book , she is pathologically narcissistic and would have no qualms in selling anyone or anything , eg the country of her birth , in order to save her worthless skin .
Talking of “bad smells”, there’s a certain one-time privy councilor that you might also have mentioned.
