I forced myself today to watch UK news on TV. I quickly realised why several years ago I took the decision to stop watching any UK news or current affairs programmes. Simply put, it is not news people in the UK are given, they are drip fed London metropolitan neoliberal propaganda 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
They spin you a narrative and imply if you do not accept it in its entirety and dare to question anything then it is you that is wrong. This has become progressively worse since Brexit. Despite everybody on the entire planet being aware that Brexit has been the biggest factor in destroying the British economy, neither the journalists, politicians or think tanks will even hint at such a thing. Whatever destroyed the UK economy, it wasn’t Brexit, it wasn’t Tory mismanagement and it certainly wasn’t the failure of the 4th Estate to hold power to account.
Rishi Sunak our new Prime Minister is, if you watch UK News, a new man that has not been around until last few months. He is the new centrist WEF saviour of the UK economy. You wouldn’t know he has been at Westminster since 2014. That he was a member of Johnsons Cabinet that oversaw the Brexit debacle. Indeed, nobody is daring to suggest that as Chancellor he has to shoulder huge blame for the mess we find ourselves in at present. It is as if he was a nobody until he became PM yesterday.
The so-called journalists discussing the new Premier gloss over the severity of our situation as they impress each other with their ‘knowledge’ about the movers and shakers. These courtiers know that if they were to tell the truth to you. They would never work again in corporate media. So at worst they lie to you merely repeating the spin the politicians spads have given them. At best they just do not tell you the truth.They omit the vital details that just might drive you on to the streets to riot and demand change. The status quo suits the establishment!
It is why the establishment hate figures like Alex Salmond, Jeremy Corbyn truth tellers that would gladly bring the entire corrupt facade crashing down.As Mark Twain once said, “If you don’t read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspapers, you are misinformed.”
Today the news channels are getting all excited at the prospect of the farce that is PMQs. Post PMQs they will spend hours ‘analysing’ what was said then inform you what to think. It is farcical and it is dishonest. They even have ‘members of the public’ standing by to give their impression of this ‘huge global event.’ A helicopter is even following the PM’s motorcade on its way to Westminster. Truly pathetic just like the UK itself.
We need revolution and democracy. We will never get it from Westminster, and we will never get it from or with the assistance of our corrupt media. They are not a 4th Estate, they are a 5th column!
And it’s a game to the SNP too.

We sent 45 SNP MP’s down there to work for us. Where were the rest of them? “Absent” so they wouldn’t be seen walking out as instructed? Too cowardly to attend and stand with Kenny? They certainly weren’t doing the job they were sent to do! Hell mend them.

The British nationalist media is, in my opinion, the most important factor in keeping the crumbling uk together, much more important and influential than British nationalist politicians. While SNP politicians go through the motions of challenging unionist politics they remain pitifully petrified of the British nationalist media.
The British nationalist media has a long tradition of spreading lies and propaganda against any group or nation it sees as a threat to the preservation of British nationalist privilege and power. The SNP is not much of a threat; the media obviously sees the SNP as easy practice for more serious times to come.

The walk-out by the SNP MPs was disgraceful. They are the Irish Parliamentary Party (independence, ha ha) all over again, except I do the latter a disservice in that they never actually betrayed their country as the SNP has done. We need to get rid of every last one them, along with their sycophants at every level in Holyrood before they deliver us up again. I keep waiting for Angus Brendan, Joanna and others to walk away from this band of spineless, self-interested creatures, but they never do. If they ever possessed any principles, they are long gone.
I stopped watching BBC in 2012 when we first started marching in Glasgow against the BBC.. I stopped buying newspapers in in 2014 after that VOW.. I stopped watching the political shows I watched everyday (Daily Politics)
Weekly PMQ.s & Marr on a Sunday.. I watch NO News whatsoever, what I see via news is usually someones post on twitter or Facebook.. I neither repost or retweet..
I left the SNP in late 2018, (Thought about leaving from 2015) But gave her a chance.. I stopped watching FMQ at the same time, NEVER seen one or PMQ since..
I watched THREE covid updates believing that too be ALL about Covid, But when she started her shit about Alex Salmond AGAIN, I stopped watching those updates as well.
I believe the BBC ONLY allowed her the Length of time she got to cover Covid so the so called JOURNALISTS could ask the more damaging questions. They reached people that did not follow politics, So they made sure that they heard from that nasty bitches mouth how TERRIBLE a man Alex Salmond was.. IT is all a game to them as you say.. But it is a dangerous game & they are getting away with it..
I once told my husband, who was never really political minded, that WE get the governments the MEDIA chooses for us.. And that is even more obvious today when you see the complete blackout of ALBA..And ALEX Salmond, who will never get the time the nasty garage got on any political show again..
Even Colette Walker never gets a mention or a chance to be heard or seen. Just because she IS another someone who would fight for INDY..
The people have to know by now there ARE other INDY parties out there, TRUE Indy parties, yet they are never written about or spoken about on live TV.. I just hope those two videos of the NASTY Party walking out on two actual freedom fighters. Then their leader hug the nasty Tory Penny Mordaunt, showing great fondness and respect for the DETESTED Tories..
