This was the week that the British Labour Party showed its true neoliberal fangs. Not content with attacking pensioners and the WASPI women while funding foreign wars, this week they turned their cruelty on to the disabled.On Tuesday Labour announced plans to cut more than £5 billion from the Welfare Budget by 2029/30.
It seems the only election promise Starmer is prepared to keep is not to tax the rich or the corporations. The gullible public on July 2024 voted to get rid of the Blue Tories and instead elected the Red Tories. The Labour Party have proved themselves to have a level of contempt for the most vulnerable in our society that even the real Tories would not countenance.
If we are to believe the latest polling numbers the cowed British voters have now decided that Farage and the ultra neoliberal Reform Party are the solution to the ills of the Union. Of course, anyone with half a brain knows that Reform will disappoint every bit as much as the other two metropolitan neoliberal vulture capitalist parties!
The entire structures of the British Union need torn down and a rebuild is what is needed.Giving turns each to the Oxbridge political parties will not end the centuries of poverty and austerity. As Einstein said, ‘repeating the same things over and over and expecting a different outcome, is madness.’ It seems the British voting public have collective insanity!
We on this blog and on TASP believe that breaking the union into its constituent parts is the best and only solution for all the nations of these Isles.
To highlight the paucity of the Union, we begin our podcast by highlighting the broken lies and promises given to Scots by the English Labour Party in Scotland. How many times do the Unionist interlopers need to be caught out lying and stealing from Scotland before the general public wake up and stop giving them last chances?
This week we once more had weakling Starmer trying to play the Big I am on the world stage. He was telling his ever shrinking band of supporters how he was “firming up his plans” to put British boots on the Ukrainian ground! This, despite the Russians making it very clear there will be no NATO boots on the ground in any peace deal.
At the same time Liz Kendall was telling us that Conscription can address the youth unemployment issue. The Labour Party now want the sons and daughters of the poor to die on foreign soil because neoliberalism and imperialism are dying and they want to do everything in their power to keep it going for as long as possible!
Not content with freezing your grandparents to death they now want to kill your children too.The Union is not fit for purpose and in reality it never did fit Scotland. It has always been about advancing English causes and desires. Our people and our natural resources are all the Anglos have ever wanted out of the Celtic fringe! Improving our lives is not even on their radar. We are a resource, nothing more!
It was the week when the charges against Sturgeon and Beattie were dropped and Swinney told us that perhaps the SNP had been subject to an act of embezzlement.It is something the SNP have denied and rubbished for the past three years.Indeed, they attacked anyone who dared to question the missing £633,000! Here’s the thing John. The SNP is not the victim in this.The real victims are the people of the movement who entrusted their donations to the SNP. They are the ones who have been cheated. They were told this money was ring fenced and safe, that was a lie and you all kept telling that lie until this week! Not even an apology was forthcoming.Shame on you!

It levels the playing field in campaigning. We may not have the money of the unionists or the tame corrupt media at our back as they do, however with Campaigner we can quickly and inexpensively collect and collate the data required to be ultra successful at the ballot box.
We now have the technology and tools to win all that is now required is unity of the movement and political will.The Union is dying, the people of Scotland are ready to step out of the shadow of England. The people only need the politicians to see sense and put nation before party!

Meanwhile in North Korea – er, sorry, Scotland – insanity, doltishness on a grand scale and delusion on an even grander scale are now the ordre du jour. No one may depart from the narrative or face dire consequences across a range of topics (all ‘woke’). The law is undermined and defied every day by people who would have difficulty in spelling ‘law’ but who have appointed themselves our immoral guardians and arbiters of bad taste.
Independence, I used to think, was achievable in my lifetime, and 2014 underlined that belief that it was at least within plucking distance. Now? I still hope so, but I know that, if we enter the promised land as we are, led by the people who are in charge right now, it will be a very short-lived triumph. I really do not want us to go the way of Ireland, which has become such a disappointment. The Celts are no longer different. Just the same old, same old. We have to find a way to break through this ‘woke’ nonsense before we become independent or God help us because no one else can.
We are headed for war. That is Starmer’s policy, which is as clear as the nose on your face.
Bae Systems, Rolls Royce. Babcock and others are salivating at the prospect of war and Starmer no less salivate at the prospect. Good for profits. Good for the stock market and good too for the unemployed inactive populace too. Conscription and off to war makes men out of people, builds character, builds a nation. What not to like – arbeit machine frei.
And Scotland will, as a reservoir of conscripts play it’s generous part. To war we will go with pride.
As for corporate profits. I do however like how BAE Systems will be, like the new tranche of Calmac ferries just announced be building new Type 47 frigates in Poland. That should ‘ frei up ‘ some more to be conscripted to a carreer as soldiers – fodder first class .
A conscripted armed forces has no incentive to fight, Willie. Only in the event of a direct threat would that work, and, even then, you would have to rule out the drug-takers, the ‘trans’, the peaceniks and everyone else who would refuse to fight for the UK, including most, if not all, of the recent immigrant population.
They didn’t flee wars in their own countries to volunteer or be conscripted into one here unless you are willing to cut them off without a penny unless they do so, and, then, you would be faced with the professional human rights lawyers who will fight for anyone’s human rights except those of the law-abiding citizens of the UK. So, basically, you can rule out millions of fighting age young men (and women, who would not be on the front-line, anyway).
The Israeli young men and women are conscripted and fight because they know, at first hand, how dangerous it would be not to fight. Throughout their lives, rockets will have poured into Israel from the various Islamic jihadists, and suicide bombers are a constant, too. In Ukraine, the same conditions apply: fight or your country falls.
Here, we would be asking young men – almost certainly working-class – to endanger their lives for another country in which they have no stake. You can bet your bottom dollar that it will not be the children of politicians or businessmen who are required to fight. Add to that, the fact that the Iraq war was fought by professional soldiers and reservists, and you are on a hiding to nothing.
Do we have the resources in place to train all these young men? Since the professionals and reservists were barely adequately resourced in the Iraq war, it seems highly unlikely. This is sabre-rattling at its most imperial and, as usual, Scotland, Wales and NI will be outvoted by English votes, because no other outcome is possible at Westminster. The working-class would be outvoted by the middle-class, whose children would be kept safe, and revolution would be in the air. Mind you, probably no quicker way to bring down the Union – and fix a few other problems we have here, in Scotland.
