The Alliance to Liberate Scotland is proud to introduce Konrad Rekas, a respected local accountant and passionate community advocate, as its candidate for the upcoming George Street/ Harbour Ward Aberdeen CC by-election.
Rekas, 50, brings proven financial expertise and a no-nonsense commitment to putting Aberdonians first in the fight for a prosperous, independent Scotland.
A qualified accountant working as an account manager and advisor for a local company, Konrad Rekas represents the hard-working New Scots who have chosen Aberdeen as their home and are determined to secure its future. He pledges to be directly accountable to the people of Aberdeen – not to party whips in Westminster or Holyrood – delivering straight-talking representation that puts local needs above party agendas.
“I’m standing because Aberdeen deserves better,” said Rekas. “Local businesses are under permanent threat from Aberdeen City Council’s mismanagement. We must reopen our city immediately – scrap the Low Emission Zone, remove the bus gates, and halt further pedestrianisation that’s choking enterprise. Look at George Street and its neighbourhood: when the Council doesn’t interfere, Aberdonians achieve great things.”
Rekas is clear that both Westminster and Holyrood abandoned the North Sea oil sector for blind ideology, leaving local business as the best hope for jobs and genuine development. He is equally outspoken on the failures of public transport, highlighting expensive fares and the £13.9 million hydrogen bus fiasco that has delivered poor value with no accountability.“Why has no one been held responsible for this disaster?” he asks. “The Council’s culture of incompetence and zero accountability must end. Drivers face worsening conditions while our buses fail the public.
”On community safety and fairness, Rekas is resolute: “People have every right to feel concerned about personal security. Aberdeen should not be at the top of the asylum seekers’ relocation list while our own residents wait endlessly for council housing. Humanitarian considerations matter, but we must prioritise those already living here, working here, and contributing to our community. As a New Scot myself, I am deeply grateful for the welcome Aberdeen gave me. I earned everything through hard work – not demands – and I will fight for the same opportunity for every Aberdonian.”
Rekas also sharply criticises the Aberdeen beachfront project, describing it as a “delusion of grandeur” that is too big, too expensive, repeatedly delayed, and disruptive to residents without guaranteed benefits. He demands wiser investment and proper protection for unique areas like Footdee (Fittie), suggesting consideration of a modest visitor contribution to safeguard local infrastructure in this residential community rather than treating it merely as a tourist spot.
With Union Street struggling, Rekas believes George Street and the Harbour have become the true heart of Aberdeen and must receive the respect and targeted infrastructure investment they deserve.
The Alliance to Liberate Scotland believes Konrad Rekas embodies the change Aberdeen needs: a principled, experienced voice who will champion independence while delivering practical, accountable local leadership. Free from the constraints of traditional party machines, he will listen to voters and fight relentlessly for a thriving, self-governing Scotland where Aberdeen leads once more.

REF: International Treaty 1707 Broken.
Dear Sir Keir Starmer Prime Minister,
May I take this opportunity in congratulating you on your overwhelming majority in the Election. I enjoyed you kind gesture with the Scottish hand flags and your speech, you might find that Scotland will work with you more freely if you are willing to help us out with our quest.
I do not know if you are aware that Scotland is a Sovereign Country and the people are Sovereign and that Scotland does not belong to any Politician, King, Queen or Parliament. The Land is vested in the Sovereign People of Scotland.
I am bringing this to your attention because in 1999, under the Blair Government the evening prior to the Scottish Parliament being set up, Tony Blair and the Scottish Mp’s from Labour stole the International waters at Berwick Upon Tweed. As, I have mentioned this is outwith their remit and under the Treaty of the Union, neither of the two Countries, i.e. England or Scotland were to inflict any damage to the other or, either of the countries could just walk away, after all we are in a voluntary political union and under one shared Monarch except that until King Charles takes the Scottish Oath he is not King of Scots.
The last Queen to have said this was Queen Anne in 1703 and since then Scotland has not had any Kings or Queens. There was not a new country called the United Kingdom made in 1707 Scotland is a Kingdom as is England hence we are the United Kingdoms in the plural.
Now we come on to the next part when Blair ran roughshod over the Citizens of Scotland and took us to an illegal war in 2003 where there was one Scots Guardsman killed along with 19 other Scottish Soldiers. I also am a Scots Guardsman and I swore an allegiance to the Queen of England that I would defend my country, my country is Scotland and the Moto for the Scots Guards is NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT which is also the Moto for Scotland, I take this seriously as people have defended their country and died for this. I have volunteered to stand up for all the service personnel that were unlawfully killed by Blair’s lies and as I do not have any money I think it should be the perpetrators of this crime that should pay.
By Blair taking Scotland to an illegal war he has again broken the Treaty of Union and I am trying to get him to the Hague for war crimes. I hear you say that as he was the prime minister he is above the law, that may be so in England but nobody is above the law in Scotland as you may know we have our own legal system here which is protected under the Treaty of Union also the Claim of Right and when King Charles was proclaimed he had to read out that the People of Scotland are Sovereign and we have our own Church and education system, all protected.
I am led to believe that you were a lawyer and a very good one at that listening to Mr Kahn the mayor of London yesterday singing your praises. I have watched you at FMQ and you do not suffer fools gladly.
I am not into causing division on this issue, but the only way that I see Scotland being able to take Blair to the Hague is by Scotland and Westminster parting Company. This is what the Independence is all about nothing sinister or detrimental.
We stood down most of our SNP Mp’s as we voted for the Labour Party along with the Lib Dems and a few Conservatives, this gives you a good cross section of representation from all parties across Scotland rather than having only one party we have every party.
I believe you were the Attorney General at the time if I picked you up right a while back and you were also against the war, I only have one rule in my life, nobody is above the law and when I wrote to the Queen asking her if she would mind not being above the law as my life depends on this, you may find the things that have gone on over the last few years with the Conservatives and the SNP we were getting things in place, Blair has hog tied us to Westminster where Mrs Thatcher stated that if Scotland wished to leave there was no English parliamentarian should stop us, then Blair brought in the Supreme Court, that is totally against the law prosecuting a foreign country overstepping the law.
We in Scotland in 1687 fired the King as that is what we can do unlike England where the people are subjects Scotland is diametrically opposite and when Alister Jack blocked laws that were passed by the Scottish Parliament this was to show us there were still obstructions that Blair had put in place and they were getting reversed, that is why Rishi Sunack called the election because we all trust you to do the right thing and let us get Blair to the Hague and we are all after some of the Lords who represented Scotland to take them to the Court of Sessions for disposing of the assets that belong to the Sovereign people of Scotland.
We will never ever be your enemy, we have lived in peace for the last 300 years but when someone is above the law, how do you deal with that. I see that Mr Trump is trying the same in the USA, I think they are getting things ready to bring Bush to the same fate.
I have written to the King to let him know what I am planning I am not a political Party, just a Scots Guardsman trying to get Justice for all of those poor souls who as I say Blair murdered with his lies and he also lied to the Parliament.
In Scotland that is the power that the Citizens have not the Parliament, they have to do what we tell them and if they fail we can call SALVO where they are also taken to the court for not doing as to what they were instructed to do.
We in Scotland also wish for England to have its own Parliament without outside interference, Wales, North Ireland and Scotland have their own parliaments and we hate having to interfere with English Votes for English Laws. We are not breaking up the Monarch Union which is away back in 1603, and Charlie can be King of all of the individual Countries except Scotland where he can be King of Scots.
I thank you for reading this and I can only but hope that you will process this as in WW1 they were told this war was to end all wars, and they would be home for Christmas, why has Blair been allowed to have his freedom and when will we take a stand against this tyrant who has brought disruption to the whole of our countries.
Declaration of Arbroath.
“For so long as there shall but one hundred of us remain alive we will never give consent to subject ourselves to the domination of the English. For it is not glory, it is not riches, neither is it honours, but it is liberty alone that we fight and contend for, which no honest man will lose but with his life.”
Yours sincerely,
William Findlay

NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT
He couldn’t do worse when half of Hutcheon St looks like a bad day in Gaza, George St is overlooked by a concrete watchtower from the Berlin wall, much of it looks Soviet but with multi-story concrete car-parking and dual carriageways instead of kindergardens and playparks, and the best thing in the area is Lidl and the availabiliy of moonshine in the shops. He must be wearing special specs when looking at George St. He may have to be a prominent Anglican though.
