This week we had several opinion polls, some Scotland-specific and others UK-wide polls. What was similar in all those polls was that the Celtic nations are all aligned in rejecting Westminster colonisation.
The SNP in Scotland, Plaid Cymru in Wales and SF in the six occupied counties of Ireland are all leading in the polls. In each jurisdiction these pro- independence parties are likely to not just win their respective elections, they are most likely to be the governments in place in the three locations.
We are witnessing the last days of the English empire and its hegemony over the Celtic nations. This phenomenon is happening globally. The Anglo-American-European hegemony of the globe is itself breaking apart. Some terms that have entered the lexicon of all languages are: The Global South and BRICS, these nations actually constitute 88% of the world’s population. They have suffered from and grown tired of European imperialism and corporate greed.
These independent nations are creating a new multipolar world where there is no more sanctions blackmail by Western neoliberal nations. Where small independent nations are equals, not colonies of bigger states!
It is way past time that Scotland joined with these other small independent nations of the world. This is very possible if we are to brlieve the polls.
In a Scottish context, these polls show the SNP some 20 points ahead of the nearest of the English parties. Those Anglo entities have for some time now had a glass ceiling of support among Scottish voters. That vote share merely transfers from one to another Unionist party depending on which party the House Jocks think is the most likely to protect England’s hegemony over Scotland and defeat the nationalists!
With such a commanding lead, it is inconceivable that the SNP will not be the largest party at Holyrood post-7th May. The forecasts are of a near clean sweep of the 73 Scottish constituency seats. They might even achieve an overall majority. What that means in simple terms is that all the Regional List votes cast for the SNP are worthless to them and a boon for the Unionist naysayers.
That is why voters need to vote wisely on May 7th. Those thinking that an SNP 1-2 will aid that party and the cause of independence are mistaken. On the Regional lists the independence voters need to support; the Alliance To Liberate Scotland party.
These two themes are the main topics for the Through A Scottish Prism podcast panel to discuss. The panel this week consists of Eva Comrie and Marjorie Thompson, of the Alliance To Liberate Scotland, the former being the candidate in the constituency of Clackmannanshire and Dunblane also a Regional List candidate for Mid-Scotland and Fife region and the latter being one of the south of Scotland regional Candidates. Also from the same party we have Eamonn Gallagher a regional candidate for the West of Scotland.
Other topics discussed include the London lobbying partnership behind the nuclear power stations propaganda being pushed by Labour and Tories in Scotland. The Tories openly admitting they intend to game the system on May 7th. to prevent an independence majority at Holyrood. We also spend some time discussing the madness of the middle east conflict and the US threats directed at the Vatican.

Majorie & Eamonn seem like – another two – excellent candidates. Both mature, grounded adults focused unequivocally on advancing our cause.
Compare the SNP’s ( * Progressive * ) lab-fed dilettante careerist Gravy ” Bus ” wannabes and proven failure electoral rejects, eg Alyn Smith, and despair at the prospect of many of them actually being elected at the expense of much higher quality candidates.
I’m still – perhaps forlornly – hoping these polls indicating an SNP massive victory will prove wildly inaccurate.
I don’t think I could stand to see that useless invertebrate Swinney & his band of milksop * camp * followers smugly celebrating their victory. More to the point, the prospect of another 5 years of ineffectual bleating about ” Westminster intransigence ” when it’s the SNP that is keeping Scotland in servitude by it’s cowardice ( & Unionist complicity ) sickens me ; plus, no doubt, renewed emphasis/promotion of issues like the ” Trans ” ” Rights ” mind-numbing idiocy and compliance with Brit State belligerence on the geopolitical stage. I note, with, let’s say * dismay * ( putting it mildly ) that not one of the alleged * Leading * Independence Blogs/Bloggers have uttered a word or lifted a finger to help promote the chances/profiles of any Alliance candidates; not one. They’re heads remain firmly rammed up their own fundaments and they’d rather pontificate and whine about their own ideas/views not being taken-up than do anything to increase the chances of extracting something of value from the imminent S.E.
