Today 6th April true patriots of Scotland will gather at Arbroath to commemorate The Declaration of Arbroath 1320. Meanwhile, this week in New York many of our politicians will be having a jolly taking part in Tartan Week.It is a cringeworthy version of a shortbread tin. These expenses paid Holyrood MSPs and their hangers on get an all paid for trip to the Big Apple to dutifully play the stereotypical Jocks for the Americans and the attendant Scottish/UK media.
Not just SNP MSPs also the English Nationalist variety too. John Swinney, Angus Robertson and assorted gravy slurpers will be joined by House Jocks like Anas Sarwar. They will all be telling you how they are their promoting Scotland and its businesses. It is however, in truth just another instance where these grifters can get a photo op and put it up on social media to pretend to you the voters that they are actually worthy of your vote and taxes!
This of all years would be an opportunity for our SNP MSPs to go and lobby the UN regarding the Salvo/Liberation paper lodged with the Decolonisation Unit. Swinney and Robertson should be in the TV Studios telling the Americans and Scottish diaspora about the constant refusal by the British/English Government to honour the wishes and votes of the Scottish People to determine their own form of governance.
Instead, they will only attend specific events, and they will be guarded in their comments in fear of upsetting their fellow unionists both on the jolly, in the press or back home in Scotland. Heaven forfend if they used this platform to promote Scotland’s self-determination!
While in the US I am sure our crowd on the New York jolly were petrified in case someone from the press corps asked them about Trump’s tarrifs against allies and foes alike. The MSPs may have been too scared to discuss these measures, be assured your Prism panel has no such fear!
These same SNP MPs you will see parading through the streets of New York you will never see walking shoulder to shoulder with the people in Arbroath today. You will never see them walking from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green to demand Scottish independence. You won’t ever see them marching with fellow Scots in any AUOB March. They will tell you marching does nothing for independence, unless of course it is an all expenses paid for jolly to the US. In this case, they will tell you, it is great for Scotland!

The polar opposite of the parasites that inhabit the Palace of Westminster or Holyrood occurred in Wales.In the same week where the news that for the first time ever, there was a poll showing a majority for Welsh Independence, a heartwarming story emerged. Michael Sheen the great Welsh actor was in the news, he bought £1 million of his neighbors’ debts and had them written them off using £100,000 of his own money. That my friends is the act of a true socialist!
Think how many people’s debts could have been written off by the UK Government instead of giving £ millions to Ukraine or Israel they had instead spent the UK tax payers money on removing poverty!
Instead of our government acting in favour of the population, we heard a horrific story from England. A very heavily handed Metropolitan Police squad raided a Quakers Youth Meeting. They arrested six female supporters of activist group Youth Demand at a Quaker meeting house in London.Quakers in Britain said the arrests were the first at a meeting house and an “aggressive violation”. The reason for these arrests? These non-violent female youths were holding a meeting where they were discussing climate change and the genocide in Palestine. Such now is the state of democracy in the UK that even good Christian folk like Quakers are not even safe in their own temples. The lengths the UK Government will go to appeasing the Israeli lobby knows no bounds.
That probably explains why the APPG a Pro-Israeli group of UK MPs refuse to disclose who funds them. The very MPs who are allegedly the servants of the people refusing to tell the people who is giving them money and for what purpose. Meantime, the UK Government denies there is a genocide and are not condemning any war crimes being committed in Palestine. Could there be a link?
