Wished we had more REAL people like Campbell to state the facts. I look forward to his return on this programme…
Pro indy, as the present croud seem content to just sit there, we will never get a section 30 ? from westminster, need indy now before scottish office take over and get rid of holyrood.
Excellent listening, BB and Mr Martin. Articulates what many of us feel. Well done.
Very interesting talk.
I was surprised that your discussion on independence didn’t cover the risk of our parliament ‘s very existence.
Excellent podcast, another excellent guest.
Brilliant – telling it like it should be!
Excellent podcast, keep up the good work.
“Diomhar” is pronounced “jee-a-var” (it means “secret”!)
Cambell Martin sounds like a very decent guy. I have previously read some of his blogs.
It would appear that the SNP has been taken over by a very nasty crowd who, at best, seem ambivalent to independence and, at worst, acting against it.
As WGD seems to be operating an SNP whitewashing site these days his credibility has plummeted in my eyes so you are still top blogger and WGD is now not even an also ran. However, the newcomer Yours for Scotland is one to watch in the blogger stakes.😀😀😀
Another great podcast, Roddy. Campbell’s well articulated ideas reflect many thoughts of the folks now in despair at what has happened to the SNP. And much of what you and he discussed leaves me feeling pretty ‘scunnered’, seeing no way out until the leadership is challenged and independence becomes the main philosophy again.
I’m hoping the Harassment Inquiry will lead to that. But… I’m not holding my breath! Those on big salaries don’t let go without a huge fight… I know there is much more to come out of that, and I wish someone would take a scalpel to it, and release ALL the poison at one go so that we could deal with it and get it out of the way. This ‘drip drip’ treatment is time consuming. And we DON’T HAVE time now. This is what makes me MOST angry, I think. Those SNP people playing for time, knowing we risk losing HR if we don’t act soon. Makes me feel that the deliberate heel dragging is for one purpose only – because the person doing the heel dragging, doesn’t want independence. Like it or not, I can see no other answer.
Good one Roddy. Any chance he could take over as leader of the SNP. Sturgeon is definitely not a Leader. A control Freak maybe but not a Leader.
