HANVEY URGES UK GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT SEX BASED RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND LGB PEOPLE

Today (Thursday) at Business Questions in the House of Commons, ALBA Party Westminster Leader Neale Hanvey MP condemned the “ill-conceived Gender Recognition Reform Act of the Scottish Government” because of its detrimental impact on the sex-based rights of women and LGB people. He urged he UK Government to bring forward legislation that would “clarify the definition of sex in the Equalities Act in future for the protection of these vulnerable groups, following from a Westminster Hall Debate that took place in June 2023. In response, the Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt MP expressed “deep regret” at “the lack of understanding on these matters by governments in the other parts of the UK.” Upon Mr Hanvey’s insistence, she agreed to bring this issue to the notice of the Equalities and Justice Ministries.

In a statement Neale Hanvey MP said:

“As I have persistently stated in matters concerning the Equality Act, it is imperative to have stable, codified language concerning the definition of sex and other protected characteristics, otherwise ‘ushering in a chaotic and anarchic approach where equality legislation becomes utterly impossible.  Everyone suffers.

“I will continue to impress upon the UK government the need to clarify the legal definition of sex, because not doing so adversely impacts the sex-based rights of women and LGB people, and fundamentally impacts the principle of equality across society.

“Opponents may accuse me of undermining devolution, but the reality is that it is the Scottish Government’s ill-conceived and incompetent approach to legislation like the Gender Recognition Reform Bill that is responsible for undermining devolved governance and the case for independence.”

  • Women are beginning to realize and understand that they are going to have to do it for themselves, with help, of course. Putting pressure on the Scottish government and even the Westminster government has not worked: they continue to prevaricate in the certain knowledge that female rights are being eroded and, in many cases, eradicated while they dilly-dally over the necessary legislation to put an end to this unreality and rank absurdity. Neale has always been a great spokesman, and there are many others. However, as never before, many women have come to understand that their rights will always be under threat from various groups of men who, in essence, do not believe that females should have any rights at all, that we should be under male control at all times, in every country, in every era. That is the stark reality that has had, in fewer than 100 years since 1928 and universal female suffrage, to be taken on board. The great tragedy is that so many young women, and even older women, fail to understand the underlying misogyny, as they fail to understand the rank homophobia implicit in the ‘trans’ movement. That they will, in time, come to understand both those truths will almost certainly prove to be too late for them to save themselves or the many gay people who will have been ‘transitioned’ into a state of passive eugenics, non-fertility and chimera-like existence, forever bound to medical supervision, and all to hide the fetishists and autogynephiles (and paedophiles) who lead this movement.
