Webcom Radio is Now Playing: Michelle Gurevich - Tragedy for Sale

Choose A Union.

With every passing day it becomes more and more obvious that Scotland and RUK are on very different paths.

While in England we have the Yellow Vested far right harassing tourists and or anyone that doesn’t sound or look English our First Minister is in Paris building bridges and cementing old alliances.

We have 7 Blairites leaving the Labour Party to set up a new company.

Yes company, they have registered ‘The Independence Group’ in Panama as a private company, not a political party.

This means that they do not come under the jurisdiction of the very light touch regulation of the Electoral Commission.

Unlike all the other political parties, they do not have to be transparent in their funding arrangements or who is behind the group.

They and the London Bubble Media refer to this new group as ‘Centrists.’

Checking their voting records tells us that what England thinks is the centre.

We in Scotland would correctly call them right wingers.

Between them they have backed renewing Trident, bombing Syria, Libya, arming Saudi.

They like so many in Westminster turn a blind eye to the plight of the Palestinians, the Yemenis.

They slavishly want to be the puppets of US foreign policy.

They have all either voted for or abstained on every single Tory Austerity measure.

Today there are rumours that they may be joined by several disgruntled Tories including a cabinet member.

Only in the British Political madness would an alliance of Britnat Tories and Labourites be termed Centrist.

They have not mentioned Scotland of course, or any of the Celtic fringe nations.

I think though it will be safe to assume they will be Anglo-Brit imperialists.

This latest nonsensical distraction must have brought a rare smile and sense of relief to Theresa May.

While the media gorged on this latest piece of Londoncentric theater the clocked ticked down on another 48 hours to Brexit Armageddon.

The only meaningful discussions with our European friends by any British politician has been Nicola Sturgeon talking to the French Government.

Indeed, she is later today addressing the French lower house expressing Scotland’s desire to remain good Europeans.

She will reiterate her government’s commitment to stand up for the rights of all European citizens that have chosen to make Scotland their home.

This decency, this promotion of Scotland as a caring nation trying to mitigate as much as possible the madness of Brexit has elicited the usual responses from the usual suspects.

The elected toadies of the British Parties in Holyrood and Westminster are incensed that the FM has dared to talk up Scotland.

They spend their entire political careers talking Scotland down and do not want anyone to talk up our nation.

They have no policies, or vision for Scotland except to take orders and direction from London.

They cannot tell you the positive case for the British Union mainly because it does not exist.

They can however spend hours and hours telling you how bad a place Scotland is to live, work, study or put down roots.

When bad news comes out about the NHS, Justice, or Education in England these toadies will immediately lie and say that the same institutions in Scotland are even worse.

They cannot ever admit that anything no matter how small is superior in Scotland to that same thing in Mother England.

They tell these lies safe in the knowledge that the corrupt Fourth Estate will never expose their lies and smears.

What kind of Union is it that it takes the lies of dishonest elected members and a bent media to hold it together?

The days of the Anglo-British Raj in Scotland are coming to an end.

Those that today side with that Raj in Scotland should look at some real history books and see how those type of people fared in other countries that gained independence from London.

It is getting close to the time when nobody can any longer sit on the fence.

Post-Brexit things can never be the same again.

We in Scotland have to choose which Union offers us the most, the EU or the British Union.

In one Union we would have a vote and a veto, we would be treated as an equal amongst 27 other sovereign nations.

The other Union the British one, we have no vote, no veto and we are treated as a colony.

When we are asked to campaign remember, Independence is normal, dependence is not.

Ask questions of the Union and unionists because they have no answers.

They run away when asked simple questions, they have no plan for Scotland, no alternative vision except blind obedience to Westminster.

They fear the truth and we must carry that truth to all parts of our nation and tell the people there is a better way.
